Reproduces sound very well.
And that is what powered mixers are all about... reproducing sound. This little unit does a good job of this especially when paired with decent speakers. Don't expect to blow the walls out but you get plenty of sound for the price of this power mixer. I know some have given this unit lower ratings than I am giving it but it is what it is. In this case it is a small amplifier with limited mixing capabilities but thats what you purchased when you ordered this power mixer. I give it five stars because it performs wonderfully for a combo amp and mixer of its size. If you need wall blowing sound or the ability to mix more devises buy a unit made to do such. If you need a power mixer that is portable with the ability to deliver decent sound in a medium sized building or venue you have made the right choice. Keep in mind, these amps are only as good as the input devices and speakers used allow them to be. I'll keep mine!

Its works fine. I doesn't have all of the features I was looking for, but it was a last minute purchase and the price was reasonable. Its easy to operate so I was able to go straight into the gig the next day without a lot of studying.

Great Product for the Price
I purchased this unit along with the iPV 10 speakers. It puts out great sound and a lot more volume capability than I need. It's simple controls make it easy for others in the church to use it. Compact, well made, and about as easy to operate as you can get. The only input I'd add is it would be really nice if there was an LED to show that the power is on. The switch is on the back, and it's difficult to always look behind it to see if it's on. A simple little light on the front would make a big difference!

So far so good
I've been involved electronics and sound for 40 years for a living. I was looking for a small powered mixer that anyone could easily operate as part of my rental fleet. This Peavey PV 5300 has a lot of good features for the price range it is in. I have not used it in the field yet, but so far it seems to preform well. I saw very few reviews about unit failure compared to other powered mixers on Amazon, one of my main reasons for choosing this unit. I wish the unit was stereo. I don't know how much it would have cost Peavey to go a little further and make this stereo, but I would have paid more if it was. My only other negative observation is that all the control knobs are almost flush with the front of the case. Portable sound equipment gets moved around, packed with other gear, and bumped around. Having the control knobs recessed back in the case a bit would go a long way in protecting those somewhat fragile controls, and extending the life of the unit, and this would not have cost Peavey anything to do. All and all I am satisfied with this unit.

Great amp/mixer combo product
I needed something simple to use for a 100 seat room. Plenty of power, not heavy to carry. A workhorse. Had my last one over 10 years.
