I can't believe anyone complained about the smell. You can only smell this if you do not use any towel and literally smoosh your face and nose into it (which does happen with yoga) but it does not stink its just subtle smell you might get from something new. I really wouldn't have noticed the smell except some people had written reviews about it. I have not even wiped it off since I bought it, used it right out of the box. I use a towel on top of it and when I do this, it has ABSOLUTELY no smell. Love the memory foam, its very subtle and no slippage at all!!!! Not too thick, not too thin, I don't probably don't need it to be this long but it's no problem width is perfect. I \'m 5'4-5'5 small to medium frame. I spent hours looking online and the more I read the more I feared all the problems... size, smell, slippage, tearing... anyhoo this IS the absolute best choice. I don't do HOT yoga and not a professional but I do it every day a lot of balance and cardio exercise too. It's perfect. I use it on my very slippery wood floor and it doesn't budge.

The mat is exactly as described. Used it in my Yoga class today and it was nice and grippy, but not sticky. The thickness is nice too. I didn't even need a blanket under my knees because it is just cushy enough. The strap is very handy and easy to put on when you're done. There is just a slight odor when you first unroll the mat. I Ieft it open overnight and there is no longer any smell at all. All in all, I would say this is a great buy.This is an amendment to my review. My first mat deteriorated very quickly with chunks coming off off of it. When I told the vendor, they quickly sent me a new one, which I appreciated. Good customer service is hard to find. Now I'm finding the second one is falling apart too, just like the first one did. They started doing this after only a couple of weeks. Although it starts out as a nice cushy mat, I cannot recommend it if you want something that will last. I'm a little embarrassed that I keep leaving chunks of it behind in my yoga class.

I had high expectations for this mat based on the other reviews, but I was very disappointed. The much celebrated thickness of it is okay, better than other mats I've tried in this price range, but it still hurt my knees in certain bind positions. The main problem was that it was not sticky enough, so I would slide in downdog and warrior poses. Then after less than a few weeks of use, it started falling apart. Every class I'd attend, I would leave pieces of the mat behind. After two months, it became discolored. That's when I started saving up for a higher quality mat. Giving it two stars vs. one because I still use the strap that came with it to carry my new mat. This is perhaps an okay mat for a beginner who isn't sure if they'll stay with yoga, but if you've been practicing yoga for a while and enjoy it, invest in a better mat! It's worth it!

Not a bad first yoga mat. If you have knee or lower back joint pain, I recommend adding a pillow or additional mat because this one isn't as thick as some, and it is not invulnerable to dog or cat claws. I am currently training my dog out of the belief that all mats on the floor are hers; this is a good cheap training mat for such purposes and I will invest in a better one when she has the idea. I do like how light it is, though, making it ideal for transport.

I used this mat for the first time yesterday in a group boot camp class. Everyone was teasing me afterward because the top of my mat shredded and left the plastic all over the pavement we were on. Not to mention all the divets and holes in my mat. It won't last but a couple more times and then I'll have to throw it away. Was fairly comfortable for a thin mat. No one else's mat shredded. I was super embarrassed :(

This is the first time I have bought a mat and I liked it. It was longer than ones I have borrowed and thicker. The only problem is I put a couple of divets in it the first time I used it. I am not sure how long it will hold up if this keeps up. I am not sure if this is normal for a mat.

This review is for the yoga mat. I never purchased a Yo Yang Posture Corrector.I initially I was pleased with this mat. It is now falling apart rapidly. I can no longer take it into the studio as it leaves chunks of blue mat all over the floor. I am disappointed I only got two years of use out of this mat before it fell apart.The quality quickly faded.

Love Zen Yoga Mats. I have had one for over 10ys and I still love it and use is several times a week but it has recently started to come apart a little. I have not used this mat yet because I dont know if I'm going to keep it or not. I was looking more for a Teal color but when I got this one it was more of a light blue unlike the photo shown that looks more blue/green.
