I'm in the entertainment business and how I look in critical to my success. I used to pull up a slipping collar 50 times through a performance and I was even criticised for the habit. I never thought someone would actually invent a solution. These people did! SO COOL. It simply works. Put it on and forget it. The negative reviews I read on here must be by a dishonest competitor or someone who stole their idea or patent. It never moves or anything like that. That was a bad lie because it can't move. Totally comfortable..I don't even know it's on after I place it. And my bad habit of pulling up my collar all night now is silly because the collars are already both up and nice and crisp and perfect. People that invent solutions to the little annoyances in life ought to be rewarded for pulling it off. I bought a second one to keep in Europe where I live and perform half of the year.I almost never review a product but it's really the right thing to do here. Also a cool gift for guy friends who like to look good.

I will never wear a collared shirt without this stay ever again. Solid quality and my shirts are super crispy up top now. It truly does make your shirt look more expensive. This is definitely one of those life hacks that everyman should invest in.

Purchased it 6 months prior and the leg broke. I contacted the seller and he basically told me I misused it. I purchased it again and broke within the month. Quality seemed to have worsened since my first purchase. The seller/owner then solicited a review from me saying he was getting flooded with false, negative reviews from others. The negative reviews he’s getting from everyone else is not false. This review is not false. Quality is questionable and owner was not helpful when I contacted him.

It does what it's supposed to do. In the past, I have gone as far as reinforcing the underside of collars on favorite shirts with heavy canvas using no-sew hem tape. That's definitely effective and permanent without having to cut into the collars and insert anything, but also too labor intensive for me to do for every shirt.I was very aware that I had this on the first couple times I wore it. My collars looked great, but I was overly concerned that it would be visible, either due to shifting or maybe the shape showing through the collar. When I realized neither of those things were happening, I got pretty comfortable with it and don't even notice it any more except when I look in the mirror and see how awesome my collar looks!It works for most of my shirts. Ideally, your collar needs to have at least a little structure of it's own for this to support it properly. It worked on all of my button down shirts, some polo-style shirts, but not on a couple softer collared polo style shirts. I probably just need to get rid of those shirts, anyway...I got this a couple sizes smaller than my actual collar measurement to make sure the ends wouldn't show. The ends sit about an inch in from the front edge of the collar on either side. They don't show no matter how I move, and it still holds my collars perfectly fine.

I wear a 17 inch neck. I find the collar to be a bit long and needed some adjustment as far as bending to fit. I also found that the ends were a little long and would show under the dress shirt with non-button down collar. My main concerns wearing, even though the wire is covered with a type of flocking, the wire shifts and moves under the collar. Sometimes it would expose from the collar.

I wasn't really sure what to expect from this sort of product. I've never used something like this before. But I did know I was tired of my dress shirt collar flopping around and sagging when I was dressed business casual or wearing a dress shirt for casual wear on an evening out.So, did a search on Amazon for something I wasn't even sure existed. It turns out there are a bunch of companies offering products to solve this shirt collar problem.I rejected the 2 piece plastic one because................1.) I figured the connection was just something to fail.2.) Also, my neck size has been 16.5 forever so, while adjustability may make things easier for the manufacturer, I don't really need something I can adjust for my neck size.3.)Lastly, the plastic can't be adjusted for style. There is one curve molded into the plastic. So you can't wear the collar spread open or close it up when you feel like it. You are stuck with whatever curve was designed into the product.There is another product no sold on Amazon that replaces the normal collar stays with a sort of "Z" shaped metal version. That looked simple and promising but since the left and right sides aren't connected you can't adjust the spread of the collar. It only holds the collar up.So I pulled the trigger on these shirt collar supports. What I liked.....1.) It's a pretty simple design.2.) It has the most adjustability for collar height and spread.3.) It seemed like it would have a good chance of actually being hidden.I bought the white version and I bought the 16" size based on other user's recommendations in reviews. I figured 1/4" on each side wouldn't make much difference in supporting the collar but it may ensure it stays hidden.So how does it work? I wore it out last night with a white dress shirt. It was relatively easy to configure the arms that control the height and the curve / spread of the collar. And it's pretty easy to put on or take off. But there was about a 10 minute learning curve to play around with it and figure out what was going to work with my shirt and what look I wanted.Once it was in place and adjusted properly, I never really noticed it all night. It was comfortable and not annoying in any way. It also stayed in place for me. I didn't have to adjust it once. It's coated with a sort of velvet flocking material and that provides a little friction as well as protecting your shirts from getting marked up by the metal. And it was invisible under my collar. But most importantly it made a huge difference in the appearance of a dress shirt collar with the top two buttons open. The shirt stayed sharp looking all night without having to constantly prop up the collar.As for the learning curve, nearly all my shirts are one of two brands, Calvin Klein and Amazon's Buttoned Down brand. The collar support seems to work well at the same setting for both those brands of shirts. So I don't really foresee having to fiddle with it once it's set up the way I like it. From now on it should be a matter of pop it on and go. I was a little worried about metal fatigue if I was going to be bending the metal arms on this thing constantly but given that I'll probably only adjust it the one time, that's not actually a problem.Is it perfect? No, I wish it plugged into the little pockets for the collar stays so I can adjust the angle of the collar better. But I'd say this solves the major problems of a sagging collar and wayward placket.The price? I thought it was a little excessive when I ordered it. It's a pretty simple product. But given that it does solve a problem and at most I may want 2 of these, the white one for light colored shirts and a black one for dark colored shirts along with the fact that they should last basically forever I've sort of reconciled myself to the $24 price with shipping and tax.EDIT 3/16/2019: OK, here's the litmus test. After wearing the white version of this with a white shirt, I just went back and ordered the black version. Yeah the price is a little outrageous but after wearing it I decided I don't want to wear a dress shirt without a tie unless I have one of these on. The black version should let me wear dark blue, black, and other dark colored shirts with this collar support while the white one will work with white, light blue, pink, and any other light colors.

The collar frame is quite an innovative idea and it really does what it's advertised. It keeps the shirt's collar in a very neat position and indeed enhances the overall look.Nevertheless, the finishing of the frame is really disappointing. Definitely not worth by far 20 pounds!!!I purchased the white version which came, before even touching it, already with the velvety cover worn off on the legs' "elbows", showing the bare metal of the frame. And mentioning that, the frame is made of plain steel and has 3 pieces welded together. Moreover the steel is not even stainless and it shows traces of corrosion which is a big NO NO to any item that you keep in contact with your clothes. If the corrosion advances this is definitely prone to stain your shirts. And even if the velvety layer had looked ok, I would have not relied on its anti corrosion properties. Any steel element needs an anti-corrosion primer or special layer.Moreover, as the frame is made of steel, it is heavier than I would have expected it to be. On the other side, the idea of the product is to remain stiff and allow in the same time also a forced deformation to adjust it to your size and the shirt type. I do not know if there was any other costly-wise reasonable metal alloy option, but I am not very happy with the current choice of materials.I will definitely use it but I have to find a way to cover the bare metal and prevent further corrosion.And as a final comment (even if for any regular guy this is not a big deal whatsoever), the product experience related to the product presentation and packaging was really really lousy. The product was just put inside the Amazon packaging box on top of a folded A4 with a few instructions. I have bought inexpensive Chinese products for a few pounds that had 20 times better presentation than this.All wrapped up: great product idea and functionality but ... not so great choice of materials, poor QA and definitely not worth the price. 3 stars rating only for the idea and functionality.

Tenia varios años batallando con la caida de los cuellos de las camisas, compré ballenas de camisa normales hasta de plata, pero el efecto seguia siendo el mismo. Este producto realmente hace lo que vende y despues de más de un mes de uso, puedo recomendarlo ampliamente. Ha funcionado en todo tipo de camisas y es facilmente moldeable para ocultarlo en todo tipo de cuellos. No se siente incomodo y me acostumbré a tenerlo puesto al tercer día, solo se llega a sentir cuando manejo y debo de mover mucho el cuello hacia un lado y atras, pero no impide la acción ni es molesto. Yo compré tres por la promoción y solo uso dos, una para las camisas de diario y otro para polos, esto para tener dos medidas estandar y no tener que mover diario la posición de las patas.Tiene buena presentación y se ve que el material interno es de metal flexible, aunque no se que tan resistente sea el producto para estar moviendo las patas de posición diariamente. El único "pero" que le pondria es que el producto no se queda precisamente fijo en una posición y dependiendo de tu actividad diaria puedes llegar a sentir como se mueve lateralmente unos milimetros lo que puede provocar que debas de reposicionarlo para evitar que sobresalga la punta del collar en algiun lado del cuello, pero es generalmente imperceptible su uso.Recomiendo pedir 1/2" menos de tu cuello de camisa. Ejemplo si eres 7.5", pide la de 7".

Definitely props up your collar but can sometimes show underneath which isn’t great. Other than that, superb!

Customer service was very helpful. I was confused in what size to go for since most of my shirts are cut-away collar. I emailed them and they got back to me within an hour with the appropriate advise. Delivery was just on point, i was expecting to receive the item in say 3 weeks, I received it within a week. The product is of high quality. When placed under my collar, it fits very well, just like it has been described.

Easy straight forward and does the job for which it was created.

El producto es tal y como se anuncia.Realmente mejora significativamente la apariencia.Es recomendable pedir 1/2 número menor a la talla de l camisa, pues ocasionalmente las puntas llegan a asomarse fuera del cuello.

El producto funciona bien y hace exactamente lo que promete. Sin embargo, a pesar de estar cubierto de un tipo de tela para que no resbale en la camisa, lo hace, y eventualmente tienes que estar arreglándolo. Es incluso penoso que te señalen que tienes algo en el cueño y luego darte cuenta que es el collar stay. No se si el problema es el tamaño o si en efecto no se queda en su lugar. Parcialmente recomendable.

¡Excelente producto! Para empezar, llegó muy bien empaquetado y antes del tiempo previsto. Llegó en perfectas condiciones, la calidad se siente bien porque es de metal y está recubierto por un forro aterciopelado, lo que lo vuelve más suave y funcional para hacer menor fricción con el cuello de la camisa y quedarse fijo. Funciona de maravilla con resultados al instante. Es tal cual se ve y se describe en la publicación, lo probé de inmediato porque estaba un poco escéptico de su utilidad, con una camisa casual (cuyo cuello es con botones y suelen ser más cortos) y lució perfecto. Hace falta probarlo con una camisa de vestir y con una tipo polo. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

I’ve been looking for such a product my whole adult life. I cant’ believe I never thought to do a google search for “keeping shirt collar stiff” or something of that nature, before a week or so ago.... that’s how I got here. It does EXACTLY what it’s supposed to do. You go from nice shirt, to James Bond nice shirt in 30 seconds. I’m ordering another one tomorrow cause if I break this one I’m gonna freak out. 😀

Pedí 3 piezas por el envío gratuito y en un par de días ya habían llegado a pesar de ser de importación, la calidad de los materiales es muy buena y desde que la he empezado a usar me gusto mucho la forma que le da a los cuellos de las camisas, además es casi imperciptible, al principio se siente un poco pero conforme pasa el día olvidas que lo traes puesta. Sin duda la mejor solución para mantener el cuello de tu camisa implecable. 100% recomendado

My wedding is coming up and I wanted the collar of my shirt to look great and not get out of shape throughout the night.I bought both the plastic competitor and this version, then tested them both at work over the course of a week. This version was far and away the better choice. It's worth the extra money and if you're already in the market for this product, you won't regret it. Make sure you have the right measurement.

Muy buen producto, cumple perfectamente con mis espectativas, de hecho a unos días de utilizarlo ya estoy realizando mi segunda compra y he dejado a un lado las ballenas metálicas con imán.Han sido varias personas que me pregunta como le hago para que se vea tan bien el cuello de la camisa, imaginarán cuál es mi respuesta.Básicamente me convertire en uno de los principales promotores del producto.En mi siguiente reseña de la compra subiré más fotos con otro tipo de camisa...

I've got a plast version of this device which is a bit diffferent but works much better. My concern with the plastic one I have is that it might not last, but does work really well. So i went ahead and tried this "Original" metal colar stay, and can say that it's more durable but doesn't fit well like the other plastic version i have made by another manufacter. This version the feet seem to poke out from underneith the collar, and is not acceptable. Sorry can't recommend

Works as advertised. I find these work better on collar shirts than polos. Like them a lot. Would definitely purchase more. I have the adjustable plastic support ones as well and they're nowhere near as good as these ones.
