I've used quite a few different carving tools. This one seemed like a reasonable design and a good value. Unfortunately, the first time it was used to do some grinding on a cedar log it threw a tooth. It was the result of hitting a knot in the wood, but wood has knots and cedar is pretty damn soft. This is just plain dangerous

This will not fit on 4 1/2 angle grinder. The lock nut is bigger than its well. I have Mikita and Hitachi girders and they are with 45 mm nut and well is about 40 mm.

I bought this for my husband. He was excited and put it on his angle grinder. Within 15 minutes he came back in the kitchen where I was and he was bleeding. This time it was not serious, thank God, but I don’t think this is a very safe item.

Removes wood and bark very quickly. This is a blunt tool, not for moderate or fine detail. Has moderate level of vibration making it tiring to use for long periods. Not sure if it doesn’t center well on my hub/shaft or if it’s unbalanced. Good value for small projects or infrequent use.

The arbor is fine but the ring is a hair bigger and won't settle in the well. Not for American grinders

This cutter is very aggressive, actually down right dangerous.

Great product. It’s a Christmas gift but I know it will be used and enjoyed
