Great hand pump - strong suction.
I bought this pump because I have the Ameda Purely Yours Electric pump and I thought the pieces would be interchangeable. Unfortunately, the hand of the pump doesn't fit into the flanges that go with the electric pump. It's not a huge deal because it's easy enough to clean, but that's why I had bought this one and not another one.The pump itself works really well for me. The suction is really good - stronger than the electric pump - and it's really easy to use. My hand does get tired after awhile, but that would probably be the case for any manual pump. I haven't tried any other manual pump, so I can't compare it - but I do prefer this one to electric pump because of the suction. I use it at least once everyday for the past 4 months, and I haven't had any issues with it.

GREAT for travel and ease of use!
You can't ask for a better one-hand pump. It fits easily in a diaper bag or large purse. I've actually purchase two of these for my daughter and she's liked them very much.

This was my main/only pump, and loved it!!!
This was the pump I was given for free at the hospital (if they don't offer, make sure you ask, most give free breast pumps!) and I absolutely loved it. The first few weeks/month my hands got tired and all, but after that I barely noticed. I have used electric pumps and other manual brands, but this was honestly the best. I was usually able to express more milk faster with this than with the electric ones, and I honestly just hated the electric ones. All moms/breasts are different, so find what works best for you, but I extended breast fed my son, and pumped the whole time, using this pump, and we always had a freezer full of milk for him. If I had another kid, I would buy another of these and not even consider an electric. Again, it's all about preference, but I found this pump to be the fastest and easiest one out there. I noticed other reviews mentioned it was uncomfortable, but I never thought so. I mean, no breast pump is going to feel normal when you start, but this never caused me pain and I found it to be less annoying than other brands.

Doesn't work for me
I can't get any meaningful milk with this pump (which came for free from the hospital). The suction is miserable, and it's a very awkward hand motion. I'll get a few drops, and try to keep up pumping for around 10 minutes before I give up. No. It's not a size issue. I pumped fine with the same flanges from the Ameda electric pumpI love my Medela hand pump, but lost a piece, and my son is 11months, so I was hoping I could use this one for the next month, but it's definitely not going to work.(Also, it's $10 cheaper from their actual website)

Helpful
For the breast feeding mother, this is a helpful tool. In my opinion this item is only used until you purchase an electric pump. Do yourself a favor and purchase the electric pump. This item performs well, but it is manual, if you pump daily you will quickly wish you had the electric pump.

Great hand pump!
I prefer this hand pump to an electric pump and any other hand pump. Easy to use and gets the job done! It made pumping comfortable when I couldn't nurse. Love it!!

Great Pump!
This is a good one hand pump. I have used the Medela pump in the past, but it is difficult to use with one hand. If you are trying to take advantage of baby nursing on one side and pumping the other, this pump works perfectly. The quality isn't on the high end, but it definitely does the job and I prefer it over my Medela hand pump.
