So far so good! So hard to find a big trash can worth the price that isn't junk that makes you want to just go heck to old school plastic. Came in fast and all in one peice no dents unlike others said wich can honestly happen with anything and you can just return exchange try agian usualy shippings fualt anyway, works like charm just like in others videos. So quiet compared to my old one this one is shockingly quiet. Love the count down no longer cuaght off guard trying to scrape plates into trash before getting your hand smashed haha unlike my old ones diff type would catch ur hand in it every time. Love the stay open feature. Absolutely hated having to have 2 small trash cans in the house with this only need1 . Why they don't make more big ones like this dono we got tired of the footpeddle ones breaking nothing lasting a year. Wish though that bug trash cans would make those plasitc black inserts you could pull out with the trash take out and spray and clean of somthing exploded n leaked could clean the inside without having to get wet the entetire things and moving parts but so far only seeing that very rare option on smaller ones and rare. Hope they read this and Make it where you can buy those separate if you choose cuz I'll take a lil loss for room to clean without harming vital parts to rust. Some complain of its thin metal but I think they could be little more detailed in this explanation; there's a small medium n large thickness. I've seen plenty small as in one finger can push it in to dent. I wouldn't say this is the thickest whereudhave to realy get bad kick it to dent it, I'd say medium. So mayb agree if you got big dogs i can see them hurting it but by then you may want to stay away from anything but thick Comercial plastic if that's the issue n it's they can learn real eady to opem it get in it anyway foot pedles would be better for dog issues. Now as far as seeing many day it never lasts past 2 years, well my footpeddle ones were the same if you can find one or the other lasting longer let me kno lol. The price is worth becuase we first got a foot pedle target one only 15 gallon vs this 21 n it was more expensive then this one and cheaper made feeling we took it back it was thin metal out said good foot pedle said best there is type it was not any better then others really. So for price I think this is good well let you know how long it lasts. Even came with a set of free bags plent to not just a tiny amount to try sell their bags but plenty. Even the hubby who hated all our old hands free version even my parents 3 hands free, was die hard peddle can type cuz less to go wrong, now he's seeing they just don't make even those like they used to the target one that was more expensive then this way smaller even was no better then the 50$made ones for the footpeddle. So you have won the hubby over and that's hard once he's stuck on somthing he gets stuck and convinceing him to give it anther go few did not wanna return yet anoyher. Never thought I would be so pleased with a trash can but this one exceeds my expectations. Its very quiet and responds immediately when you want use it but not when you're just walking by which i like. It really locks in smells as it can hold a large amount of garbage. Come with a roll of bags as well.

I did not think that I could love a garbage can but here I am. This size is perfect for my kitchen. It keeps the dogs from pulling garbage out and helps to keep odors in. It is easy to wave your hand over to open lid and to flip button off if you need lid open longer. It is quiet and well built. Looks very nice.

This item is to me works just like it is describe. installation was easy ight weight but seems to be durable, great size, the automatic opening works as stated it stays open long enough to put trash in without closing before you are finished. The shipping packaging is heavy duty, garbage bag can be removed with little effort and new one installed easily.

I purchased this trash can for kitchen use about 6 months ago. This trash can is far too expensive for the quality that you receive. It also has some poor design qualities that causes me to not recommend it; listed below: -The lid is powered open and shut by a motion sensor/motor combo. After about 6-7 seconds the lid is supposed to close again. The lid generally powers open just fine, but about 50% of the time it only closes halfway or not at all when the time is up. This has happened since the beginning of my ownership so weak batteries are not the issue. It also has capacitive touch buttons for opening and closing which work fine most of the time. However this sort of defeats the purpose of a no-touch automatic can. -On the backside of the can about 1/4 of the length down from the lip is a port which I'm assuming is for an odor-reducing filter to be placed in. That's fine, except for that it juts 1/2 inch or so into the interior space of the can. Additionally, the lip of the can is folded over INTO the interior space of the can instead of folding outward and has a relatively sharp edge. If the trash bags are any kind of full, they get caught on the filter holder AND the lip of the can causing small tears all over the bag, front, back, and sides. If you're not careful, you'll tear the bag enough that it will rip out completely and spill junk everywhere. It also makes it difficult to remove. -The metal of the can is of very cheap construction and bends easily. If you fill a bag too full the sides of the can will bulge out and stay that way. This caused the lid to be unable to sit correctly on the top of the can. Because of the thinness and malleability of the metal, it can be bent back, but not to its original shape. -The only positive qualities of this can is its size and that it looks like nice when the lid actually closes and before it gets bent out of shape from normal use. Do not let the 4.5 star rating fool you, this can is garbage (pun intended). Take your money elsewhere if you want an automated can or just buy a step can from a reputable brand which will be much simpler and cheaper. That's what I'll be doing when it's time to replace this one.

I have had this for almost a year now and it is still working great. Everyone loves it that it was a touch less with buttons if you wanna use them. I would buy again.

I originally paid $114.99 in 10/20/24. Just got a notice on 5/16/26 that this thing went up to $177.79. A total of $62.73 increase. I was hoping to buy three more so I could keep all my trash cans matching but sadly with increase in most things it was going to take a longer time. Sad to see this spike so drastic. The trash can still works, and its great, as long as something doesnt trigger the lid to activate (like a wrapper or piece of trash that got stuck on the lip) and it drains the battery. I have time between my fridge and stove. Sadly I turn my pan handles to the right, which aims over the trash and it tends to trigger to thing to open. I try my best to remember, so that I can move the pan handle or else if it sides all night with a pan just sitting there, it drains the batter faster. Other than that the one I bought at the time that I did was made of great quality and came with some really nice bags to try. Its quiet for me, or at least im use to it enough that it doesnt mate me notice. As to why I have to remember to make sure nothing it triggering it because its not loud enough to really catch my attention. Though regular trash bags of the same size work fine. I have yet to have any issues with it. Will have to keep an eye out if price ever drops back down and if the quality stays the same with reviews sharing images. With shrinkflation and even companies raising prices, a lot tend to down grade to cheaper materials though still spiking up the price. Hoping this company does not do that. Just wanted to add this to my review for a personal note for me when i come back later to hopefully invest in a few more. I wanna keep matching stuff through my house when it comes to appliances and such, so it looks clean and consistent
