Dick Bruna is now one of the most famous creators of picture books in the world. He has written and illustrated 124 books, which have sold over 85 million copies in 50 languages.

Good read
The whole family always (and still does) enjoy the Dick Bruna classics. I grew up with Miffy and it's nice now that my children can too! They make reading fun. My 2.5 year old now recalls each page from memory before I've even read it to her!

lovely and something different
Quite a cute story. My 2 and 4 yr olds listened well to this...makes a change from the usual julia donaldson etc. A calm story for bedtime which is a perfect length. A good introduction to Miffy, I am sure we will be buying more.

A start to your Miffy reading
Although this is the first of the series of Miffy books, probably not the best and of the two books I gave to my 2 year old grandson, the visit to the zoo was the one he most enjoyed.

Charming book with lovely illustrations that my daughter loves. Very old fashioned story though (mummy miffy cleans while daddy miffy does the garden!) may not appeal to everyone.
