Outstanding Campaign Game!
I made the title to make it clear that this is a very solid campaign game. I generally play multiplayer games i.e. Battlefield 3, but we all know that those types of games are made mainly for the multiplayer, leaving the campaign pretty poor. Remember Me went for an all-out campaign game and it shows. This is a very detailed game and the team that put this together did an astonishing job. The music, sound effects, the neo look are all great, but the story in this game is outstanding. The story behind Nilin will suck you in and you will look forward to when you can continue the journey in getting your memory back each time you have to quit the game. As others have said you set up your combo moves which at first your hands will hurt just getting the combos pulled off. Once you get used to it - it will be a little more fluid as the game notifies you when you have to hit either "Y" or "X" depending on whether your set up is for damage, self-healing, or cool down. Some enemies are tougher than others and at the end of Episode 2 I actually had to change the difficulty to the lowest setting to defeat the boss. That's another plus, being able to change the difficulty in order to prevent you from getting frustrated. Again, the story is so good that you will want to beat the heck out of foes in order to find out what's next. If you are looking for a multiplayer game then pass on this one. If you are looking for a very solid campaign game that just sucks you in then do yourself a favor and pick this game up. Although, this game may be overlooked as I would have missed it if it wasn't for a recommendation from Amazon. I'm really glad this game found me and I think you will too.

Great Story
I played this game a few months ago and really enjoyed it. It stuck with me. The story line is really interesting. I am not a great gamer by any means and I definitely run into some points where I'd have to start again but they were not excessive. It definitely requires you to think for a lot of the game. The "remix" parts of the game are really cool - probably my favourite part of the game overall. Some of the fighting and jumping can get a bit repetitive and the scenery is all a bit the same. Other than that, the gameplay is really good especially for someone like me who doesn't usually enjoy fighting/jumping games. It's also refreshing to have another game with a female protagonist that doesn't feel patronising or gratuitous. The main character just happens to be female. The voice acting was pretty good and the graphics are nice. If you like story driven games that are challenging but not insane, I definitely recommend this one.

Everything I'd hoped for!
This game is incredible! The graphics are great and the landscape isn't repetitive, which is a common problem I have in the games I play. The character development is spot-on and the voice acting is superb. I say that because it isn't cheesy and here it noticeably enhances the story. The customizable combo chains are great and combat itself isn't boring. The remixing isn't as tricky as I thought it might be; the only thing I dislike about it is that there aren't more instances to use it. Anyway, I'm going to go have more fun swinging off of buildings now. :)

Remember The Annoyances
Remember Me has a great idea for a game. Unfortunately, it doesn't really capitalize on it. The premise is interesting and the story could've been so much more. It felt like a game that was being developed by a team of very talented people, but with a deadline that stunted the quality of their work. For starters, the game is very pretty. The backdrop of a futuristic France was really something to behold - from the slums to the nicer parts of the city, everything had a great look to it. The problem is, I wanted to explore the great looking city and I really couldn't. The path you must follow is very linear. Even the platforming portions of the game were linear in that arrows pointed out where you needed to jump to. This is a very "a to b" type of game. Although the game looked great, the sounds are a different story. Now, the voice acting was ok. And, at first, the ambient sound seemed just fine. Until I played on for a while. The sounds from different areas tend to repeat themselves over and over again. In some cases, those sounds were very annoying, too. Listening to some crazy person spout off his craziness over and over and over again until I reached a certain area was bothersome. Not a gamekiller, just a little annoying. What really kept this game from being better than only 3 stars is the combat. The combo system doesn't work all that well. Long strings of combos can be very difficult to pull off when you are being attacked by 10 different types of enemies from all sides. Not to mention the fact that some enemies are "protected" by others, meaning there is an order in which you must defeat them. The whole thing is just more of a bother than it is fun. There are a few memory sequences that are very well done and fun to execute, but they are very far and few between and have little impact on the game as a whole. Bottom line is this - it's not a terrible game. You might have a little fun bouncing around futuristic France if you have a great deal o patience to deal with the various irritants throughout the game. For me, this is an average game at best. Don't pay more than $30.00 for it. Overall: 3/5

A great game if you like to think while playing
This game, set in a future Paris where memories can be stored or wiped out based on a consumer's whim, is a beautiful, intricate story featuring a complex female protagonist. Nalim is a Memory Hunter, and she wakes up at the beginning with her own memory completely wiped. You spend the game putting the pieces together and fighting the massive class-based injustice that runs rampant in this dystopia. I like fighting games, and the fighting is fine in this game, but it's not the focus. Instead, the focus is on following the storyline and figuring out your next move. The game is beautifully rendered, and is perfect for people who like to puzzle things out while they play.

I didn't buy the game when it was released because it just got a 70 on metacritic on xbox 360. But I bough it in February 2015 after having read articles from Seb Lagarde about the rendering and after having watched 90 minutes of a playthrough on youtube: it is even better in real time. That is the proof that video game is an art. The visuals are breathtaking. The art direction created a neo Paris that I would say surpasses Ridley Scott's Blade Runner. The technology is mastered at an unprecedented level: an-isotropic reflections of lights on a wet floor, indirect lighting... I played Last of Us, AC Unity, and I admit that I am a graphics whore. but this game is la creme de la creme. The combat system is not very enjoyable but fortunately the memory remix sequences are just great. "Life is strange" from the same company uses this concept on a larger scale. The story is pretty good, and the premices are really interesting.
