Novelty Ella Wall Pot, 14.5-Inch, Black

I love these planters. I had bought one at a local garden store and then could not find them again...glad they were found here. They came well packaged and undamaged on the first delivery. I am using them for my orchids and they seem to love it. I had them in original pots where they tended to struggle with my watering habits. These help provide moisture/humidity from below and the orchids are growing better than they ever have for me. The hanging design also keeps them out of way of my cats and dog who have snapped off the blooms on occasion.

I bought two of these. They both broke while hung up. The material of the pot isn't strong enough to take the weight. Horrible product.

I’ve had to order two of these now because they keep cracking. Not very durable. Especially when you add soil. They look great but don’t hold up well AT ALL

Besides that the first time I ordered this, it arrive broken. The packaging is horrible. When I ordered again, it came the same way. Luckily in one piece, not multiple. But, since we have put it on the wall a couple months ago....full of soil and succulents, it hasn't moved. So it works!

I thought it would be more stone and less plastic

This choice to hang under my mailbox at the front door was perfect. I was impressed with the drainage/reservoir design inside. I will order this again.

I bought one of these in brown from a local gardening chain and planted a little geranium in it and so far I'm very pleased with it. I'm thinking about getting a few more. I have a small patio garden so a wall pot like this is a way for me to get a little more out of a small space. I mounted it directly on the redwood fence with the screws (included) and a drill. You could use a screwdriver instead. The mounting kit also includes anchors for plaster.I already have several other planters in the same line from Novelty, the model called "Napa", which I use for roses and dwarf citrus. They are sturdy, durable plastic, and I don't usually like the look of plastic, but these are natural looking and lightweight compared to ceramic, so easy to move around. I prefer the lighter colors so that it doesn't get too hot in the summer sun and stress the roots. The reservoir seems to have a beneficial effect. I remove the drain plugs, which allows draining when the water reaches a certain level.

Very cool idea, but beware it cracks and breaks easily.
