Sendra Boots 2380MO Black

A little background: I'm a biker who already owns a good few pairs of boots... walking boots, safety boots, and motorcycle boots. But I was looking for a boot that I could ride to work in, and attend a client meeting without having to jump into my soft shoes, which any motorcyclist will tell you is a pain, especially having to carry the damned things around in a backpack! Sendra are top notch boot-makers, and the marque is recognized by those who know, whilst the cut is appreciated by those who don't.Although these boots are pricier than other 'biker' boots on this site, the leather sole really gives a responsive feel, and a touch of class, whilst the rubber heel ensures you'll never slip whilst on the road. Obviously I'm not going to need to re-sole them after a month, but when the time comes I'm pretty sure I'll find a city cobbler willing to rejuvenate the Goodyear soles. The wear-in period is short but painful: I suffered being helped out of them the first few times, and later misguidedly went on a walking tour of Amsterdam, after which my toes were bloody and raw. Luckily however I stumbled into the Sendra retaillers in the city, who sympathized, and sent me on my way with a pair of soft shoes and some sound advice: Don't wear them for more than a couple of hours in the first few weeks!!Stylish and practical, everything I was looking for: Cheers Sendra!
