Really Good Product at a Great Price
With limited shoulder mobility from 2 surgeries it is always difficult to put moisture lotion where you want it. This is the best option over long handled applicators. It is easy to use, cleans easily but best it gets the lotion all over hard to reach areas on my back and neck. Love it

Takes a little time to master the technique.
I needed this applicator to place lotion on the top of my back.. In my first attempt I squirted the lotion on the pad and slung it over the top of my head and onto my back. The lotion was in big glob. I slung, the lotion slung too...right off the pad and onto my wall!!!Next time I placed the lotion on the pad and with my fingers spread it out so that the lotion was not deep in any spot. This works well. I have something wrong with my left wrist which makes it hard to move my wrist to spread the lotion out. With my right wrist, I can move the applicator around easily. It’s not perfect however it beats asking my husband and listening to his whining and saying “yuk, this stuff (the lotion) is slimy. If you live alone or have a whining partner, I would recommend it. Good Luck with it.

Wish I had ordered this years ago!
I wish I had ordered this years ago. I got it yesterday, used it this morning and what a difference in applying lotion to my back and shoulders! I didn't have to stretch my arms in an awkward fashion and it took lots less time. Just put some lotion on the center, then move it from side to side to apply it. The lotion I use is very thick and NONE of it absorbed into the applicator! I agree with some other reviews that the stretchy handle isn't the greatest, but I just grabbed it by the fabric instead of the handle and it worked better. One thing I to be aware of if you have long hair, put your hair up first. I flipped the applicator over my shoulder and forgot about my hair and almost had a gob of lotin in it. If you have thin or runny lotion this might not work as well, but if you smear it around the applicator some before trying to use it that might keep it from dripping off. I think I'm going to order one for my mom and my co-worker. I plan to use this for sunscreen on my back and shoulders in the summer too! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!

Easy Use Easy Clean, Straps Are A Small Problem
Finally! An easy to use, easy to clean, method of applying lotion to that small area of my back I simply cannot reach to moisturize. My only quibble with this item is the elastic straps at either end by which is needed to hold the item on your back: they stretch too much and make handling it awkward. After 5-6 uses I find the elastic on the straps is starting to fail. The pressure required to really rub the moisturizer into my skin is too light when holding the elastic handles. I end up crumpling the ends of the Body Buddy in my hands to get a good strong grip. I will probably end up replacing the elastic straps with something solid, like webbing. But the item itself is a dream product, and I have a regularly moisturized and happy back for the first time in my adult life.

Great Product!
I found the "Body Buddy" while searching online for some sort of long-handled device to make applying lotion to my back easier and less contorting. It was quite different than what I was looking for, but the reviews were good and I thought I'd give it a try! It arrived very quickly, nicely boxed and ready to remove and use right from the package. I've had it about a month and have used it quite a few times, and I really like it! It's a great product! The material is very soft (but cold on the skin at first) and skin-like. I agree that the elasticised handles can be a bit tricky to keep hold of, but I do think they make it easier to change the direction of the application without bending and twisting one's arms uncomfortably. It's easy to use, and easy to keep clean and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a lotion applicator for those hard-to-reach areas!

Very Happy
I have had a dry back and dry legs for quite some time, it only bothered me when I exercised, it gave me this horrible burning sensation. I put moisturizer on my legs, and I was fine, but my back still bothered me, it felt like every time I stretched my skin, I could feel it tearing just a little. I decided to give this a try, and my back hasn't bothered me since. This has also made moisturizing my legs much easier too. I'm giving this product a perfect score, because it has made exercising so much easier, I have little, or most of the time, zero burning sensations like I once had.I've seen some reviews where people do not like the hand grips because they stretch. I personally don't mind them one bit. I feel like by putting pressure on the grips, you take less pressure off the material, making it last longer. I don't use the grips when I do my legs, but when I do my back they work perfectly fine.

Holds lotions great - straps are a bit too stretchy.
I've never been able to reach very far into my back because of tight shoulder muscles. I always have to have someone else apply sunscreen (or use aerosol and hope for the best) and have literally never put regular lotion on my back myself. Until tonight! I got the body buddy specifically for sunscreen, but I my back has been itchy all day, so I slathered on a few pumps of lotion directly onto the strap and went to town.I love how easily it holds the lotion - nothing drips off. But like most others, I wish the handles weren't so stretchy. I ended up holding directly onto one end in order to maneuver the strap better. Other than that, it's perfect! Hopefully now I can be more diligent about taking care of my back!

Wouldn't be without it now
I have a husband who loves to touch me, but when I ask him to rub arthritis creams on my upper back (of course the arthritis would go there, it's the only place on my body I can't reach myself) you'd think I had asked him to handle toxic waste, and for that reason I never asked, and my back never got rubbed with lotion. So when I saw this lotion applicator, I thought why not give it a try? Well, it works. I put a small amount on the strap when I step out of the shower, rub it across my back and shoulders, and it absorbs completely into my skin, no need to wash the applicator if you're using the same lotion every time. I've only had it a couple of weeks, and I do think my back pain is less. I plan to buy another one for my sunscreen.
