Height Lifting Inserts, 6 Pieces

The Undercover Fox lifting inserts do the job well, and they're comfortable. As stated in the product description, they can add between 1-2.5" of height depending on how many of the foam inserts you use (3 per foot maximum, the bottom two inserts are optional and easily detach). In my case, I'm a guy who is just shy of 5'9"...with all 3 foam lifting inserts inside my tactical high-top boots, I'm a tad over 5'11". It's a noticeable boost in height, but friends and co-workers that I see everyday have not said anything, so the height boost is not so noticeable that it's obvious you're using shoe lifts. In my opinion, anything beyond a 3" boost in height is obvious to just about anyone who knows you...these inserts stay just under that threshold at 2.5" max (which is a bonus)...less worrying about being "busted" for increasing your height using artificial means.For most shoes, the red and top black inserts will fit, and boost your height somewhere between 1.5-2". Not bad. So if you're 5'6", you're nearly 5'8" using just 2 of the foam inserts. I recommend using these in boots or high-top shoes, since your heel will literally end up raised inside the rear of the shoe, so most sneakers and more formal dress shoes will likely not allow room for your heel in addition to the inserts. Other reviewers have noted that the inserts won't fit in most shoes, unless you're using a shoe that is several sizes too large on your foot. This hasn't been my experience...the inserts fit fine inside my shoes, and I did not need to go a size up to fit them inside any of my shoes. Boots are more forgiving and should allow you to use all three inserts, while sneakers may only allow you to use one or two of the inserts (you don't want your heel coming out the back of your shoe).Walking on these takes some getting used to (the more inserts you use, the more different your walk will feel), and depending on your shoe size and style, you may feel a little less balanced with the inserts inside the shoe, especially if the soles are narrow. After a few days of wearing them, you'll adjust...once you're used to the height boost, you won't want to revert back. The foam inserts are easily transferable to other shoes or boots, only takes a minute or two to swap them out into another shoe.Overall this product does work. Your mileage and walking experience may vary depending on the type of shoes you wear. Not everyone will want the full 2.5" boost when using all 3 inserts, which is why it's nice to have the option of using just 1 or 2 inserts for a more subtle height increase. I wouldn't recommend using these in running shoes...they're fine for casual everyday use, as well as hiking (once you're used to the inserts). Great confidence booster and well worth the $$.

First of all, this is not a six pack. What the icon is struggling to communicate is that there are 6 pieces of rubber in each order. (3 pieces per foot). These insoles are stacked so you can customize your desired height. There's no way that you can wear all 3 stacked in one shoe. These are only possible if you get a freakishly and ridiculously large and roomy pair of boots. There is no way you can fit all three in any pair of shoes/boots. I could only fit one with the bubble on it inside my boots without being uncomfortable and feeling squashed. The two other pieces are being used in another pair of flat bottomed furry boots for a sneaky way to add height. Overall, its a well-made pair of inserts without consideration for being used in a normal pair of shoes.

My foot fits perfectly in every pair of my shoes. This is my second pair of Fox Height Lifting inserts which comes in three sections for each foot. My left leg is about 3/4" shorter than my right. I limp without the use of the insert. However, I only use one of the left foot sections. My shoe size is 10-10.5 which the single section fits into without and alteration. The insert is about 3/4" in the back and contours to almost a flat surface in the front. There is a cushion heal and a very soft yet firm material on the entire surface which is very similar to a new athletic shoe. I am not using this for heightening so i do not use the other two extensions. I do agree that my heal is at the top of the shoe with the use of the two extensions but with them my left leg is too long for proper leg length and even walking.So far my first pair has lasted about a year. I use them and in fact still use the old ones every day at work. Some of the surface has worn a little bit and I am on my feet 9-15 hours a day. I inserted the new pair of Fox inserts in my left walking sandal so that I do not have to keep taking them out of my work shoe to put into the sandal. I have a good strong even gate as I walk and am even able to dance.So, if you are looking to increase your height with the entire three sections I suppose you would need a little larger shoe with a high back heel. But if you are looking to increase your height by almost and inch then these are excellent for any shoe. My situation allows me to use any pair of shoes by inserting the left basic lift into any shoe of my choice.
