Gumbies - Islander Canvas Flip-Flops Unisex

Saw these shoes while i was in Mexico a few years ago but did not buy. I found them quite by accident and I am glad I did. They are adorable however for me they ran large even though I followed the sizing chart from Gumbie's. My problem may be that I have short toes. The show runs wide and for me that is a definite benefit. I would not recommend this shoe for woman who have narrow petite feet. So I am returning therm for a size 9. I am very disappointed that I have to pay shipping charges to return the sandals. Hopefully the size down will work out for me.

This is my second pair of Gumbies and I love them. The best part is I can use my favorite stain treatment on the foot bed, toss them in the washing machine when they get grimy and hang them up on the clothes line to dry. To me, the added wear and fade only makes them look cooler, plus they feel better too. As far as the fit goes, they’re flip flops, so don’t expect any arch support or whatever. I have a narrow foot and when they’re brand new they feel narrow, even to me, but once they’re broken in they’re perfect. I love the sole/tread - they have held up really well. I bought a second pair, not because my first pair wore out, but because I wanted a black pair. I have since tossed all my other flip flops, Gumbies are my go to now. And FYI, my first pair is still going strong after 1.5yrs of regular wear and laundering (blue pair). In the beginning I wasn’t sure about spending $35+ on flip flops, but to me, they are worth every penny.PS. I know they they look a little grimy in the pics, but I believe this is actually flip flops natural state :D

I love these flip flops. I am, it’s fair to say, a connoisseur of flip flops, and these, it is also fair to say are The Best I Have Ever Worn Or Owned.I have wide, and very very flat, feet, so any shoe that allows my feet to just BE gets my hearty appreciation and adoration.

I really like these flips but have had them about 6 months and worn moderately. The right flip is separating in two places. The left flip is fine. That are comfortable and I do like them just thought they would last a bit longer.

Ordered regular shoe size for was perfect. Didn't know if I would like they are not padded and no arch. Wanted something to run around house in easy to slip on. To my surprise I really like them. They are my go-to shoe for inside. I have worn out in yard and still very pleased. I have had two joint replacements and these do not aggravate either one. Very pleased with purchase.

The product is fun in design and the colors are super. The variety to choose from this vendor is broad.The bottom of the flip flop is deep grooved, so if heading through dirt or anything other than loose sand will stay with the shoe. The canvas picks up dirt easily so your foot impression shows. A great beach shoe.

Great concept and I love how they feel on the bottom of my feet. They also have great gripping power as I was hiking with them across clay/muddy terrain around my fishing creek. The only drawback is the straps are too loose and I had to use my toes to grip the sandals so they would not fall out. This also caused my feet to be tired from gripping all day to keep them on. But for some reason... I still love them and would buy them again. I really love how they feel when I'm just casually walking around.

Love these sandals. They do run large. I normally wear a size 9, but I ended up giving them to my daughter who as a bigger foot than I do. I ordered an eight and they fit great.
