Great instrumental music as usual with Renbourn
Great instrumental music as usual with Renbourn. One caveat is that there is a CD with a different cover that is the same title and the same tunes. That cover shows a bearded guy in a red robe on the right holding up a light or something. My problem was that I already had that version and did not need to buy this, so beware. There was no clue that it was the same music.

Renbourn’s Desert island recording. Pure solo acoustic guitar perfection.
Renbourn at his height. Each piece is an exquisite solo guitar instrumental. No vocals. Impeccable playing. Very personal and artful interpretations. Great recording

Solid Performance of Rennsaisance type music
Pleasant and delivers what I expected. Somewhat lacking in that there are no "grabber" tunes that stand out.

Masterful
Beautiful--masterful guitar playing--it really just doesn't get much better than this. Very soothing--great to listen to at the office. As a bonus--there are a few tab transcriptions in the cover for guitar players!!!Something you don't find very often.

Fantastic finger picking
Wonderful and intricate guitar work makes this album worth owning. Very broad range of musical interpretation from Faro's Rag to Three Pieces by O'Carolan.

top guitar album
This is one of the best guitar albums of all time....an absolute must. Renbourn is a real pioneer and this album is everything modern steel string guitar is about.
