Little Big Feelings (1) Paperback – June 1, 2019

This is a go to book at our house during particularly tricky stages our younger kids go through. The book is so beautifully written. It’s easy for our kids to relate to the emotion they are feeling, name it and put in a plan of action. Thank you for this wonderful resource!

An instant favorite of my children, Little Big Feelings is a joy to read. With beautiful illustrations and soothing rhyme, the book takes children through the many feelings they will and have experienced, reminding them that they come and they go, and encouraging them to keep a healthy perspective. I worry that children have few moral leaders today. Books like Little Big Feelings help aid parents in our quest to raise children who can feel their own feelings - and those of others. Empathy must be a part of a child’s education, and this book is a wonderful resource!

This is a nice rhyming book about different feelings and how littles can cope with them throughout the day. Nice illustrations and themes. My 2.5 year old asks to read this book for bedtime nearly every night since we got it a few weeks ago - he even does the "3 deep breaths" in the story while we are reading it.

Love this book! There should be more books written like this where kids learn that their feelings are ok and normal. It teaches them how to manage their feelings too. My kids love reading it and they actually take what they learn from this book and practice it in real life situations. It really helps me with my feeler of a daughter. Excellent book for both kids and parents.

Very cute book, love the diversity of the book, and the rhyming. It’s a great way to introduce good feelings and bad feelings and what to do with them. It is repetitive though, saying the same thing nearly on every page. Additionally, not all examples were able to fit into our life, but that’s okay.

The story has great scenarios for each feeling and what to do about it

I bought these for my granddaughters because they don't understand how 2 adults can't live together sometimes.The saddest thing is they don't understand when 1 parent is self centered and selfish that caused their parents to not be together anymore.

This is such a sweet book that helps describe all the feelings our little ones (and ourselves) feel every day, and how to handle the feelings when they arise. My boys loved reading it and looking at the adorable illustrations. We have all already reminded each other multiple times to “take three deep breaths” when our feelings start to get the best of us. It will be read over and over in our home for a long time to come.
