FLCL Original Soundtrack V.3

FLCL was awesome back when I watched it and still is and I love the new ones too. Heh I always had a felling they would continue it but what next? Is it gonna jump into reality one day or something? Well as much as that would be rather cool I know something from that series is real. That is, The Pillows. They are in my honesty the best band I've ever heard. They sing in Japanese and some English but they know how to put it all together. If you put it with the show... The music from the show really felt with the way everything was going and I loved it.EDIT: This CD came in great shape and new with 1 disk. It would be perfect if it had One Life in it but if u need to buy other CDs for it don't hesitate these guys are awesome. I've got this playing in my car a lot and I really haven't gotten tired of them. They inspired me and now I can play some songs on my Guitar! I hope they keep the series going and I hope these guys can keep at it. Its really great songs.

Great for collectors

I don't think it's too bold of a statement to say that FLCL would definitely not have been as impactful, amazing, defined, etc. if not for the music provided by The Pillows. This CD is considered Volume 3 for some reason, though I found that every track that I could remember from the show was featured on it so I really have no desire to seek out Volumes 1 or 2. I mean, what can be said about this soundtrack that hasn't already. After listening to the CD I felt the need to go ahead and rewatch FLCL for the dozenth time or so. I also find this CD's collection of songs to be superior to the "Fool on Cool Generation" album that just came out recently as well. Bottom line, if you like FLCL, you must also like The Pillows and therefore you really should like this CD.

I remember the first time i watched FLCL it was my gateway anime and I think the thing that caught me off guard was the pillows songs during the climaxes. It should come to no surprise then that I then searched for the band to see what else they have to offer and they are to this day my favorite band.I own all three of the FLCL OSTs and this one is defiantly my favorite. This disc has some of the pillows best songs (in my opinion) and is a great item to own. Compared to the other OSTs this disc has full lyrics to every song compared to the first OST which has seven off vocal songs and the second one which has several tracks of what seems to be interviews. (one is ten minutes of two people talking in a taxi)I would recommend this disc to anyone who is a fan of the anime, but if you are a fan of the pillows this cd is a must have. Just note that there are many other great songs by the pillows that are not included on this disc.

Not only does this CD give you awesome music by The Pillows, but while you are listening to it, you also re-live in your soul all of the scenes and battles from watching FLCL since all of the music is directly from the series. Almost every day since I bought this, multiple songs from this soundtrack have been buzzing in my head all day long, with no end in sight. Each song on this CD is used at least once in the series, and the way the writers of FLCL married the music with the visual scenes on the show is incredible.This CD is a must have for fans of FLCL (Fooly Cooly), and if you are new to FLCL- this CD is a great start to the awesome music and wild ride of this anime series- have fun and rock on!!!

The "FLCL Original Soundtrack" (the one available on spotify and is cheaper on amazon) has mostly instrumentals. This one has the full songs with vocals, along with some other songs from a later season. It is missing a couple songs that are just instrumentals from the original, but it more than makes up for it with having the full versions of all the rest of the songs.The reason I gave it less stars is because my CD came with a couple deep scratches/cracks in the back of the CD case, however the CD itself was fine.

I enjoyed this album thoroughly, really brought back some memories of when I watched FLCL as a kid.However, I was a little upset when I noticed a deep scratch on the back of the album cover; which was supposedly a "new" copy. I'm unsure if it happened during transit or if it was already like that. It's trivial but disappointing.

If you're a fan of OST.. This CD will leave you satisfied! The majority of the most memorable tunes are in this soundtrack.
