Waste of money
Didn’t work. Grew mold and the temp and humidity are wrong.

Uses very little electricity, works great. Check temp though
I was wondering how much electricity it would use, so I hooked it up to my "Kill a watt" meter for 24 hours. 80 watts in 24 hours x 21 days = 1.68 kW to hatch 7 eggs. My rate of .11c per kW = less than .20c to hatch out eggs. Easy to maintain, I like it. It was off about 15 degrees, which is a common comment I have read from most other incubators too. Always check yours with a thermometer first.

Very disappointed
The incubator came right on time. Within an hour of getting it, we have put 6 quail eggs in it and have marked the calendar for when our eggs should hatch. I can't wait. Well, 16 days later and the incubator won't hold temperature. I'm afraid we lost all 6 quail eggs. Very disappointed.

It Works!
This product worked pretty well. Currently, I have one chick and a few others developing! One issue I had was that the membrane inside the egg got dehydrated; I’m not sure if user error caused the membrane dehydration or if it was the incubator. Since the membrane dried out, I had to remove the chick from her egg.*Edit: the incubator stopped working which killed the other developing chicks. The temperature gauge is incorrect and the humidifier stopped working efficiently.

The worst
Never should have purchased. After getting I realized what a terrible design this is. When you first add water and raise humidity back up it builds on the dome size, which most normal sized eggs will be touching. Just asking for bacteria growth. Also was not accurate with keeping temps steady. Not insulated enough. Will need separate hatcher as well, as eggs cannot hatch inside this. Not large enough for standard chicken eggs.

Just spend the extra money on a better one!
I set up the incubator a week prior to getting my fertile silkie eggs. I thought I had all the kinks worked out, but I WAS WRONG! I lost all 7 eggs. The thermometer is NOT ACCURATE AT ALL! There is no hygrometer built into it either. I ended up ordering a digital thermometer/hygrometer, but it was too late at that point. The screws inside the unit rust almost immediately. When I finally got the temp. right it was extremely touchy and fluctuated constantly. You can't add water to the indentation you are supposed to or the humidity is like 90%. I am having to put a drop of water on a cotton ball a few times a day inside the chamber and like I said the temp and humidity fluctuates so much I doubt anything could survive in there.

Does not work!
I would give this zero stars if I could. Total waste of money. We have hatched eggs numerous times with different incubators. This one does work...at all.
