Gerber Baby Boys' 5-Pack Caps

I bought the Gerber Baby Boys' 5-Pack Caps, Little Athlete, 0-6 Months, and one of the hat has a dark blue color with stripes. I cleaned the hats after I received them. But after I put it on my baby's head for a few hours, baby's forehead turned blue. At first we were terrified to find that and thought if there are something wrong. We finally realized it is because of the hat fades. The attached photo showed my husband's thumb also turned blue while touching the hat.So I am warning new parents do not buy these hats. Apparently the quality is very bad and should not be worn by babies.

They are perfect for my new born she has a tiny head. She weights 6 pounds and is 7 days old. I wouldn’t recommend for a baby who has a bigger head. The material is good the designs are so cute. Can’t complain about the price either!!! It’s a bargain! Compare to other beanies prices.❗️❗️❗️Do not dry!! Only hang dry❗️❗️

The looked cute upon arrival. I washed them before putting them on my 1 week old baby girl (I always wash all her clothes when purchased before putting them on her) and dried them on low temp. They shrank and they are not very soft. They didn't really fit right. If you fold them over like they are supposed to be then they are too small and if you don't fold them they cover her eyes. I stopped using them after a few uses. She is now almost 3 months and they still don't quite fit right. Wouldn't recommend.

I bought these for my newborn who was born at 37 weeks and weighed 6 pounds 14 oz and these are cut WAY too small to the point that they barely fit her head and are useless. She doesn't have a melon head either so these are more suited for a baby doll than an actual baby! The patterns are cute and seem well stitched, however, when I put them on her with the rims folded as shown in the photo, they come down to right under the hair line and when I unroll them, they don't even cover her ears and come to mid forehead. Her head doesn't even fit into the point of the hat. Total waste of money!

I find most brands smallest cap size is 0-3 and that tends to be too big for a newborn head. Gerber runs small so their newborn sized caps are perfect for those first few weeks until baby's head is big enough for the 0-3. These are thin, light, and breatheable. I wouldn't recommend them for going out on a cold day, but perfect for days that are not quite warm enough to leave baby's head bare, especially if you have a baby with little or no hair. Very stretchy too, so they'll fit until baby's head is big enough for the next size.

Super cute little hats that match the onesies just right! I love that they're cotton, so no sweaty baby heads! I only wish there wasn't a tag sewn into each one, but they can be cut off (they don't tear, don't even try!)

My 2 month old baby, whose head circumference is only in the 18th percentile barely fits in these. I cannot see how they can possibly go up to 6 months! The blue striped one turned my baby's scalp blue, despite being washed several times. It looked like his head had been bruised all over!

The photos don't show anything on the brim of the hats. I purchased these to add a name to each as a special customized baby gift but the dark blue one has an embroidered lion on it. I purposely ordered this pack for the dark blue hat. Wish they would have not hidden the embroidered item in the photo.

Bought these for my newborn. He has a large head so I bought the 0-3 months and they fit him perfectly. He will be 3 months in 2 weeks and they are beginning to be a little tight, so they are true to size.

Super cute hats - made of very soft material and double layered. 2 stars given for that.I wouldn't buy them again. They shrunk like crazy after washing them and they lost their shape. Going to use them as much as I can but I don't see them lasting another wash cycle :/

These are great, very cute and good material. The only downside is the packaging - so much plastic and it comes with double sided tape on each hat in order to keep the fold pretty when it arrives. So you have to wash it immediately before it can be worn since otherwise its sticky... probably not the biggest issue since most people wash baby clothing before wearing them anyways.

I though I could trust good big brand name, i guess i was wrong. i should stick with Gerber baby food product.When i open the box it was nice, it feel soft and all and it also feel like a good material, but after hand wash it with cold water and fabric softener i feel rough on the materials.and size doesn't seem to fit, it feel a little to small, after using it leave some red marking line on my baby forehead.

The material is soft however the hats are way too big for a new born. They stretched to almost 80% after first wash and they cover my baby's half face everytime. I have to pay close attention everytime my baby sleeps so that it doesn't cover his eyes and nose specially. I wouldn't go for this product again for a newborn.
