Industrial Test Systems eXact 486608 Micro Sulfate Strips, 0-150 ppm Detection Range (Bottle of 50)

Another strip that works great with my photometer. This test was able to detect very low sulfate levels in my well water. This is not a color match test stip. Dip the strip into the cell, and meter reads the levels and gives a precise number. Meter is worth the price in my opinion and the strips are very affordable.

The bottle has no seal at all. Looks like a previously opened item.To make things worse, the promised directions did not come with the bottle. The bottle label states "For best results, be sure to fully read the directions that came with your photometer before beginning any test".I don't know how long to wait for the test results, 10 seconds or 10 minutes? I have no clue the meaning of any color.It will be completely up to me to figure how to use and how to interpret any results.Returned the item since I have no time for a wild guessing game.

Simple 20 second test! The photometer that is REQUIRED for this test is well made and the tests are just as good. I appreciate not having to match/guess strips to color charts. For those that gave bad reviews, I am not sure what they thought they were buying. The description is very clear, that a photometer is required.

I have nothing but good things to say about this test and photometer. It seems that previous complaints are due to those not having the photometer in order to conduct the test, which is of no fault of the company since it clearly states the photometer is required. Instructions are simple and test results are fast! Affordable and fast shipping!

was unusable since I didn't purchase the photometers. My mistake for not reading all details up front. It was one item in a larger purchase of other water test strips.

Works great with our eXact 20 photometer. The results are comparable to what we got from a lab within the sensitivity of the test.

You need a $300 meter to take the readings. No color coding strips. Worthless.

Wish I had read the review: no seal and no instructions are right, you don't get anything but the bottle of strips..... I even took a lot of time to browse their site and still don't have any directions or chart to compare to. To be fair, the description says it works with their photometers - whatever that is.
