Purchased this for my husband. He really likes it. I have a different riser for my laptop which doesn't tilt it quite so high. I prefer the one I have since it's just right for me. But my husband wanted something that lifted his laptop a bit higher at the rear for a more elevated angle and this one seems to do the job perfectly for him. The product photo shows a Macbook Air which is quite a bit thinner than the Macbook Pro (which we have) so I was afraid the weight and thickness of the Macbook Pro was going to cause it to slide forward and over the little rubber cradle/stop in the front, but it seems to be held in place without any problem. I would want this item to be a couple inches wider on each side for more stability, but it seems to work fine the way it is - so my husband says...and he's the one using it. So take heart that a Macbook Pro will work on this riser just as well as the Air shown in the photo. All in all, a good laptop riser.

This is a very high quality, solid, and nicely styled laptop stand that looks and works great with my MacBook. It's also sure to help keep your notebook cool if it needs a little extra cooling help.One minor quibble might be that the "grippy" silicon grips not only grip the laptop/notebook well but also dust particles. Also, keep in mind that this stand is not adjustable. It's one angle (18 degrees) and one angle only.If you want a nicer than average laptop stand and are willing to pay a nicer than average price for it, then this should do nicely, especially if you have a MacBook.NOTE: I was sent a free product sample for review. The rear hole for cable management works well if the device is intended to be in one spot for hours.5. The rubber pads protect both the laptop and wood surfaces.A little expensive, but still highly recommended.

I bought seven of these for our family practice office. Our back office all uses laptops and this product does two things beautifully (all of our laptops are 15" or less-I have a 17" laptop and it starts getting too big for the product, though it does still work.) The stand makes the position of the laptop ergonomic and it keeps the laptop cool because the fan is not sitting on the counter-top. This is a well-made product and very simple. It has non-skid areas to unsure your laptop does not fall off and it works beautifully. Great product even if it is a little pricey.

Finally, I can have a laptop screen that's eye level, and the keying is much easier! Although this is advertised as being up to 15", I have been using it with my 17" laptop with no problem.

I have a macbook air and it wouldn't stay on the stand. I suppose this is because my macbook air is not front-heavy. I ended up giving this to my boyfriend who has a macbook pro which is much heavier and it works very well for him.

Pretty cool. This holds up my laptop and keeps it from overheating. I wish the bottom had a better lip tho, it can slide off easily.

I should have bought this stand earlier! The stand raises the bottom of my MacBook screen to the same height as the bottom of my 27" Samsung display on the left (just like the picture here). The stand matches the finish of my MacBook, and holds it securely without any movement on the desktop. I can use the trackpad and keyboard of the MacBook if I want, when I get tired of the Bluetooth keyboard and trackpad under the Samsung display.
