Daisy B52 Wrist Support Slingshot - Black/Yellow

Strong winds blew a drone down into the top of a 65 foot tall tree near my yard. Threw tennis balls, tried to reach with gyroscopic tree-cutting poles, nothing worked, and before I got the climbing harness and said my prayers, I thought I'd try a slingshot. This was 9 bucks, I got a bag of clay pellets, and parked in a chair at the base of the tree. Took about 38 shots, and clacked the thing out of the tree like clockwork. Like Clackwork, in fact. It doesn't have sights or screw-in bands, but this isn't a rifle, it's a slingshot. It's comfortable, durable, consistent and inexpensive. 5/5 every day

I had a b52 when I was a kid. I shot rocks, acorns, marbles and all kinds of other projectiles out of it. My brothers and I had so many acorn fights with them lol. One thing I love about this design is the larger gap in between risers. Some of the newer designs have such small gaps you can't shoot rocks out of them. Anyway on to the design, the actual frame of the b52 is thick metal and I've never managed to bend one. The wrist brace is great and is totally necessary if you want to put stronger bands on it. All in all for the price you aren't going to beat this thing. Just get one and have fun!

My husband is very happy with this slingshot. We have squirrels that keep eating the bird food and leaving excrement in our yard, and he has tried everything to get rid of them without killing them. He ordered this to shoot things at them in an effort to scare them off, and it seems to be working. He has shot marshmallows at them (not so effective), but his current choice is some bouncy rubber balls for kids that he ordered (like for the game Jax). He got a big bag of them and hits the squirrels about 50% of the time (he hasn't practiced since he was a kid). No doubt it hurts but they haven't shown signs of injury (they live across the street in the trees) and they're not in our yard as often. He is able to aim very well with this--it is pretty accurate. It's also easy to stretch and, with the right ammo, potentially quite dangerous (if you're hunting, that's a good thing I guess). Most importantly, I enjoy watching this Caddyshack-like competition between him and the squirrels, especially as the lockdown has us all a bit bored😂. As long as no one gets hurt, it's pretty funny. This is inexpensive but accurate and quite powerful. It won't stand up to hard use, most likely, as the stretchy bit seems to be a weak point, but for the price he is more than getting his money's worth. The Daisy B52 Slingshot exceeded all my expectations! This is a professional-quality slingshot that's incredibly accurate and powerful. The build quality is outstanding - it feels solid and durable in your hands. The ergonomic grip is comfortable even during extended use. I've been using it for target practice in my backyard, and the accuracy is phenomenal. The bands provide excellent power without being too stiff to draw. It shoots steel shot, glass shot, and various ammo sizes perfectly. The folding design is genius for portability and storage. I can easily fold it up and toss it in my backpack for camping trips. Assembly was simple and everything fits together perfectly. The yellow and black color scheme looks great. This slingshot is fun for target shooting and has become my favorite outdoor hobby. Highly recommend for anyone interested in slingshot sports!

Sturdy, foldable, inexpensive. Not much else to say about this one, except that other reviewers have mentioned strap breakage. It happens, and here is how to fix it. The first thing is to buy a new strap or some physical therapy tubing from a medical supply store. You have to turn about an inch of strap inside out, on each end, which isn't impossible, but it is difficult the first time you do it. The easist way is to stretch the end onto a hose bib on the outside of your house, stick the tube in a little ways, and then snap the end off of the hose bib. Then just roll it onto the slingshot. Easy peasy. The knot that hods the tubing to the strap is just an overhand knot (ask a boy scout). It has to be plenty tight, but once tight, it will hold forever. Make sure that the strap is in the middle of the tubing, which means that you should tie the strap on before putting the tube ends on.

This thing is great. True slingshot. Wrist brace works well. Is an adult use, not what I would consider a toy. I use it to chase pigeons out of my barn. Couldn't be happier!

So much fun! We wear them out pretty fast the band breaks in several hundred shots or so, but we really pull back on them hard, a kid could probably use this for years. Shoots accuratley, with practice, up to about 80 but will fly a little mor randomly maybe 200

This lasted exactly one year. Today it snapped and broke.
