Good product and works for 1997 third GEN Toyota four Runner
I installed this NRG short hub adapter on my 1997 Toyota 4Runner, and it fit perfectly without any issues. The quality feels solid and well-built, and the installation was straightforward. Once installed, everything lined up exactly as it should, and it gave me a great foundation for my quick release steering wheel setup. Overall, I’m really happy with this product—it does exactly what it’s supposed to and feels very reliable. Highly recommend for anyone with a 3rd gen 4Runner looking to upgrade their steering setup. Installing into my 2015 tC perfectly. Came with resistors that were also a breeze to install to remove the airbag light. Literally took me about 15 minutes including removing the stock steering wheel, and I had never done this before in any other vehicle. Another bonus is it fits over your clock spring so no need to remove that.

If you commit, you fully commit.
Installation is fairly simple. The horn wiring to keep it working is a pain. And you loose certain amenities that are associated with the wheel i.e. Cruise control, turn signal auto off, and your steering wheel radio controls. The clock spring controls a lot. But if you don't mind that the hub is fine. Though I will mention that in the tC, if your using it on a scion, leaves a little gap between the bottom of the hub and the plastic bottom of the steering column. You can see some of the dangling cords that were stranded.

I liked how this product fit perfectly but if ur not using a quick release it'll need a spacer to fit the horn piece. Your also gonna need to find a way to wire the horn up but other than that this product is great!!
