Solid Tires 8.5 Inches Electric Scooter Wheels Replacement Tire 8-1/2'' Front or Rear Honeycomb Tires for Xiaomi Mijia M365, Gotrax GXL V2 and More (1)

This is a must have if you have any scooter that has an 8 inch tire, the tubes for 8 inch tires never last... this solid rubber tire is a game changer. However, a little difficult to put on. I boiled mine in a pot of water to loosen and soften the rubber. And it still took my wife a few minutes to manhandle it to get it on I suggest having multiple pry bars for leverage.. I bought 2 of these 1 for each of my scooters. And the second one was definitely easier than the first after learning that we needed lots of leverage

Tire itself is sturdy and good.The only problem is installation. But I found easy way after check the comments.2 things - heat with microwave, and put old tire under neath when you push the wheel to the tire.With warm water, I couldn't make the tire flexible even with boiling water. So I have put in the microwave for 4-5 mins, the tire became pretty hot and smoke started shown even.I took it out and put the old tire on the floor then put the hot new tire and push the wheels in, the trick worked.Also I use the 3 of bread knives from kitchen, use other side so that it doesn't bend because I didn't have proper tools.It worked pretty in easy way.The tire is great, no worry about the flat.

Took a while to put on, but with the right tools it's easy enough. Just don't make the same mistake as me, where I finally got the tire on and then realized it was facing the wrong direction.Me being me, I wanted to do it right and ended up taking it off. That was much easier then I thought. The fact I never saw a video on how to take it off impressed me. So yeah, I put it back on for a second time and learned many lessons.I probably wouldn't mind taking it off and on, now that I know what it takes to remove it and put it back on.I used (26 in.) 3 Iron Tires that I bought from Harbor Freight, (3) screwdrivers that I found in my car, and used my spare car tire to keep the wheel hub centered. Also this was the motorhub that I was putting the solid on. So no zip ties would help. I think I might make a video about it later on and post pictures.Anyways the product came as described, although it had some scuffs around the inner tire. Happy I bought this, no more flats baby.

The product is fine, works well, ride isn't noticably different from the pneumatic tire it replaced. Wow was it difficult to get on the room though. If you struggled to remove the tire you're replacing, you might want to just get tubes and not deal with this.I eventually got it on the rim by submersing it in a bowl of water that I then microwaved for 25 minutes (tried 10 and 15 minutes, those weren't long enough), then I lubed both the rim and interior of the tire down with dish soap and used a couple long flathead screwdrivers to lever it on. I had bought metal tire levers, but the ones that were frequently purchased with this were way too short to be effective.

My Gotrax GXL2 back tire kept getting punctured. I took about an hour to install this tire (warming in boiling water and using a screwdriver to get it in place really helped). But the effort was fully worth it, rides super smooth.

The tire seems fine but instillation is impossible. Just getting the old tire off was pretty tough but getting this one on is impossible. I have been unable to do it. Not sure what I’m going to do. I tried for hours using all the instructional videos and couldn’t do it. I emailed the company asking for help and they said take it to a local bike shop but the local bike shops turned me away saying the don’t work with scooters. I strongly recommend not buying this product. Installing it yourself will take a ton of blood, sweat, and tears and you may not even succeed. At this point, my scooter is out of commission solely because of this tire issue and I have no idea what I’m going to do.

I was expecting two tires. Not one. Please put in the description. How many are coming in said order? Otherwise quality's good I don't understand why y'all would only ship out one tire that makes no sense
