No clue how that happened, it stayed plugged into my phone. Disappointed!!

This adapter works with iPad pro 12.9 2020 to charge if headphones are unplugged only, even the adapter plugged in without headphones stops charging. This is delicate so I put it on the USBC extension because the first one broke even tho I was careful. Useful but not durable
It perfectly fitted and I was able to charge and listen to music. I loved that the music and charging port where facing upwards to avoid bending of the cords. Until 6 months later the main port broke apart but it was always plugged in.
