French Lily Fire Pot - Chocolate/Bashful Blue

I liked this when I first received it as a gift for my sister. Good looking accessory for any table. However, have since seen too many reports about the gel used in the firepots being dangerous. I have been stupid enough to add gel while the firepot was hot and was lucky it did not blow up back at me like the videos I have seen on the news. Too many people have been hurt by these firepots - please, if you have one, just put a candle in it - don't use the gel. Just google about it - you'll be convinced too.

I don't think I'd use this as a vase since the flowers might hide the glaze. This is the most appealing fire pot I have. I appreciate the ceramic design and finally I find my colors blended nicely.The desciption is dead-on. This will fit anywhere and look great.

This is not a cut at the product, but on the marketing. This is described as Chocolate/Bashful Blue by the manufacturer, but there is no blue in the item. Also, the images provided by the manufacturer shows the bottom of the fire pot as almost a golden color, but it is basically a chocolate brown and white pattern.
