Proper Drafting/Counter Height Office Chair - Great For Tall People
Excellent chair and the only of its kind that I was able to find. I've waited a few months to write this review so I could really speak to the chair's quality after some serious use. My desk is a counter height craft table and I wanted a proper adjustable office chair. As many of the other reviewers noted, I'm 6'2" and this is a great chair for tall people. If you're short, you're going to have a hard time getting in and out of this chair. I've watched a few friends inadvertently try and it's hilarious. The rest of the world is built for you; this chair is ours. The seat is very comfortable and the back has a nice contour. I took the arms off so I could sit cross-legged on occasion. The adjustable levers work well. I like that you can let a particular adjustment swing or lock it off in any position. If I were to make any suggestions for improvements they would be these: 1. It would be nice to have a lumbar adjustment like in some cars. 2. In a perfect world, I'd like a taller back with a headrest. 3. The packaging wasn't the best. The box was very heavy and got a little beat up in shipping. I think it would be better to ship in two packages if possible. All in all, this is an excellent chair. Good value for the money and I've been able to comfortably work in it for hours.

Worth the money.
I needed a chair that would provide excellent back support while I was working at a bench and this is it. Most bench chairs I've used have been no more useful than a stool with a back. This chair has excellent height and lots of adjustments for position, comfort and support. I've been using it for a couple of weeks and I can sit in it and work for hours with no trouble. My bench height is 36". I have the chair all the way up and the arms all the way up too. I didn't install the casters so the chair is a few inches lower than stock. The post wobble that all chairs like this have is minimal.Comfort, adjustability, and build quality are why this gets 5 stars. The leather is slightly thicker than regular furniture leather and has taken a couple of hits already. It's durable. It's sturdy. There were two places, one on each side, where the mating surface of the bracket and the back weren't aligned. It probably didn't make any difference as there are plenty of other bolts there, but I inserted a few washers to mate the surfaces on those two spots when I assembled it. The two bolts were just long enough. I'm guessing the manufacturer uses that bracket for a number of seats.Considering everything else this is minor issue. The instructions are cryptic but not too hard to figure out. (They cover several different models). They include two allen wrenches for assembly. There are many levers to make changes but there are also other adjustments that can be made by using the allen wrenches, like the width between the arm rests and at least one more around the back that I haven't messed with yet. This was an excellent buy and there were no issues with the store or shipper.

This is a fine enough chair, but at $300, it's way overpriced.
I purchased this chair for work. Due to remodeling, I would be working at a counter, and my boss instructed me to find a chair that would be the right height and comfortable for a long day. I looked at several drafting/counter height chairs on Amazon before selecting this one, swayed primarily by the good reviews I read. And while the chair is comfortable enough, I have to say it's not nearly as nice as I was expecting, especially for the >$300 price we paid.Pros: The seat is well cushioned and comfortable. It's easy to adjust and customize to your comfort. Adjustments include raising and lowering armrests, back, and seat; seat tilting, and reclining back. It rolls very well. It's exactly the height I need for a counter-top work space and it is a perfectly serviceable chair.Cons: The foot ring is pretty crummy. It says it's adjustable, but even if I or a coworker tightens it to the extent of our strength, it slides down to the bottom after a day of use. The seat feels like it sinks a little with use, too, but that's not nearly as bad/noticeable. I'm a woman of about 130-140 lb for reference. The leather is not at smooth or soft as it is described or appears in the photo. The plastic parts hold up well enough, but look a little cheaper than I expected. So yeah. It's a fine enough chair. But my coworker at a table-height desk has a less expensive chair that looks better with softer leather. If the extra $100 this chair costs is only for the height, I have not qualms calling it overpriced - especially since the foot ring is crummy.

Don’t hesitate buy this chair if you need a tall comfortable chair
Its been a couple of months since I purchased this chair and it’s comfortable! I have back issues and all the chairs before I couldn’t sit in long before they made me sore. During COVID I have been working from home full time during the day and in the evenings taking classes all from this chair... I spent many hours in it. The thick pad on the seat and all the adjustments in a tall drafting chair was had to find. I would have given this chair a 5 star if the foot ring was more sturdy it keeps wobbling and slipping down. Even with the foot ring issues I highly recommend this chair!

Good chair, poor assembly instructions.
I got this for my wife to use in her craft room. She has been very pleased with it and has commented several times no how comfortable it is. I found it to be sturdy for this day and age of plastic and cheap materials. The only item I would caution is the instructions on assembly. Luckily, I'm good with my hands and mechanically inclined so I was able to get it put tougher in around 20 minutes. BUT, if you look at the instructions, they are crap! Couple this with someone who is not good with their hands or mechanically inclined will more than likely have difficulty in getting this tougher. Which may explain several people saying it took them around 45 minutes or more to put this together. If I was included to do so, I would order this product again.
