Sigma fp Full Frame Mirrorless Digital Camera

The SIGMA fp is one of the greatest cameras you can get currently, it’s a modular cinematic camera that can be rigged up to however you want it to be, it has L mount so you can get large amounts of lenses that will fit this and adapt many, many lenses from the past, this includes vintage and special cinema lenses. It also has fantastic low-light abilities, and it can record video footage in 12bit CDNG RAW files, an ability that some top cinema cameras that cost twice the price of this cannot do. I love the SIGMA fp.

The basic concept here is that this is not a complete camera but the core module of a camera system that you can customize to suit yourself. For instance, there is no grip -- you select a grip from a choice of several on the market. The camera has an LCD, but if you want an EVF this is an attachment -- for video most will prefer a small monitor. Or there is a loupe which gives a superb view but adds size and weight. The standard of design and construction is extremely high. There is no mechanical shutter, just the electronic shutter, as is available in several cameras today. This reduces weight and increases reliability, but has the usual limitations of electronic shutters -- flash sync at slow speeds only, banding with LED lighting except at slower speeds. The camera can be completely silent. It is in practice two cameras in one. A switch on top is set to either still or video, and the two modes are completely isolated, so that in still mode no video items appear on the menus, and vice versa. A handy feature is the tripod sockets on the left and right ends for vertical shots, as well as in the usual bottom place. Altogether a very nice camera indeed and great fun to use, especially with legacy manual-focus lenses, but perhaps you should have another camera to go with it for when you want to use flash.

I have been using this for over 6 months now and I am loving it. This is for someone who likes to shoot in manual mode and understands photography. More you know about the camera and technical aspect of photography, better the images will turn out. I bought this mainly for small form factor and full frame with weather sealing.

We received an open box instead of a brand new item! The focus picking was slightly off. DNG HD was softer than 4K. The shadow recovery showed some color noise and color banding in all bit settings. Pretty bad focus hunting for sure. Very dim screen.

やはり筐体自体のデザインが秀逸、新品で購入した理由は、今後も売る事はなくずっと持って居続けたいカメラであるので、あえて新品のものを購入しました。fpLか最後まで迷いましたが、動画メインの運用のため、fp としました。今後のレンズや周辺関連機器を検討・購入していくのも、とても楽しみです。

カメラ本体は 綺麗で 良い品物でしたが 付属品の フラシュ取付金具が 付属していませんでした。付属し忘れたなら 送ってください。宜しくお願い致します。

Really looks like new. Just noticed a dead cell on screen after a few days of use. Good thing, it's not on the sensor. Loving the camera and still prefer it over my Sony A7C.
