Best Mayo ever!! Bought as gift

Smooth rich flavor
I am a died-in-the-wool user of a different brand of mayo. I was pleasantly surprised after trying this product in the 11.5 ounce squeeze bottle ( bought as a try-out). Tasted by itself it has a smooth and silky mouth feel. The added egg in this formula gives a rich and pleasant taste. Used in my usual mayo way, this came across beautifully and is a product I will be stocking in a larger quantity!

Did not meet expectations for reason it's the BEST in the South.
I was disappointed that the expiration date was in March 2025, only a few weeks from the date I received it. As a big mayonnaise fan, I was eager to try Duke's from what I had heard about its popularity, especially in the South. I was not impressed with its flavor. Will stick with Hellman's.

About Duke's mayo
A friend who considers herself a foodie told me that Duke's was even better than Best Foods/Hellman's. Being a life-long BF devotee, I was curious. So Duke's is OK, but to me it had a greasier mouth feel than BF. I am definitely not anti-grease, but I sticking with BF in the future. The mayo arrived on a timely basis and well-packaged. The plastic lid had a small broken chunk, but the foil seal was not damaged so it's been OK.

Okay
I live in the NE and am a mayo lover. I had heard about Duke's and its rave reviews so I splurged ($12) and got this item. To me it was underwhelming; okay but definitely not great. If you live up north, stick with Helman's with as good or better taste at a much lower price. I guess regional is regional.
