Touch Screen Pocket Scale 200 Gram X 0.01g Digital Scales US Balance Absolute

I have been home brewing beer for about 5 years now. I had only been doing extract brewing, but recently decided to go to all grain brewing. Since I live in a small apartment, 5 gallon all grain brewing is difficult. I decided to do 1 gallon batches. What is difficult is that you need very small quantities of ingredients. Have you ever tried to measure .1 oz of hop pellets on any ordinary scale? Many scales are only accurate to .1 oz, meaning they round up or down to whole .1 ounces. This one is accurate to .001 ounces. For example, I weighed my pen on my girlfriends Weight Watchers scale. It weighed .3 ounces. I then weighed it on this scale. It weighed .325 ounces. That's off by almost 10%. For my purposes, I don't want to be under or over by 10% in brewing my recipes. Just keep in mind that this is a small pocket sized scale for weighing small quantities. For its intended purpose, it is totally awesome.

Il'l scrap mine by falling on the floor.... I'have buy a new one, work very well, Ideal to mesure Gun Powder for reloading, on mine 1 digit is always on screen like a ''8'', difficult to reading but do the job. Her big default, she working by 0.2 Grain... Makes: 1.0, 1.2, 1.4....... Not indicate by 0.1 like: 0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3....... Very good load, ideal to mesure Arrows, gun powder, ect.......

So far so good. There accurate and small yet have a large weighting platform and the cover makes for a great tray. Very happy with them after about 2 months of regular daily use . Only thing is order a 200 gram weight when ordering scales cause you will need it very first thing .

It seems to be sensitive and accurate. It's a small little thing. When the cover is on it can be tucked away in my cupboard. The cover can be a bit tricky to get off, though. Apart from that, wonderfully happy with this little device. I purchase supplements in powder form, when I can, so have total control over the dose I take. As the right dose is important, just as it is with conventional drugs. I was good at chemistry in school, and this is a very nice reminder of those days.

Would have been better if they included the *necessary* calibration weight, especially at the price they ask.We are not impressed at the directions. The directions are a tiny piece of paper with minimal directions.There is NO address for the company on the box! No email address or phone number either.I want to like this product but the US Balance people make that hard to do.

This pocket scale is very accurate and light. Once calibrated, it has been accurate and easy to use. The touch screen is a nice feature but not necessary for me. The touch is pretty sensitive and responds well. Lighted back display is bright and easy to read. I would recommend this scale for anyone that needs a light and portable scale that has good accuracy.

INACCURATE! Tried several different weights & it is always off. Recalibrated using the recommended weight. Used the same weight on the next try & it was off again by 7.6g. Better to throw your $$$ into the trash than buy this piece of trash. Now I have to take this to a UPS store I should be paid for buying this.

Nice scale. Doesn't come with calibration weight (100 g needed). It is not a true touch screen but it does the job. Very accurate.
