It was perfect for my needs. Well constructed, but light weight. Very good value for money too.

Updated Review: I was contacted by the creators of this box who wanted to guarentee customer satsifaction, and they offered me a replacement. The replacement arrived today and is a much better quality. The paint job is better and there are no dents/knicks in the woodwork. It seems to be of the quality I was expecting and will do well for what I need it for. I'm more than happy to recommend this product, and a big thank you for the customer service team for seeking me out. It was an unexpected pleasure, especailly during the Covid crisis. Original review: I'd been looking for a box like this for a few months and thought this would be ideal. It's for a gift box for my wife. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I was let down. There were quite large debts6/knicks on the base and the paint on the top was t consistent, leading to patches. The only reason I'm not free returning this is due to the covid outbreak. In hindsight I should trusted the reviews more on here. I wouldn't recommend this product.

Positives: * very lightweight * great size * no sharp corners Negatives: * scratched paint on the front right side of the box about 2.5 inches long * inside of box is poorly finished with rough patches and some chipped paint * right side hinge is defective- sticks out and lid does not align * really soft, poor quality hinges So disappointed in this. I bought this instead of a card based magnetic box thinking that it would be an ungrade as I was making a memory box for a new arrival in my family. The outer box was undamaged and there was no damage to the plastic wrap around the actual wooden box. There was no padding around the box itself to protect it. I took a chance that mine would be one of the ones that would arrive undamaged...but luck was not on my side.

A nice looking box, very well finished. Construction not the strongest, hinges are push-in type and not screwed, and there is no catch, but overall better quality than I expected for the price.

Poor finish for painted item, great design, but very, very rough, had to sand & repaint areas as needed urgently . If I had known I would have got the bare pine wood one cheaper, manythanks amazon for part refund, great customer service.

Lovely box well made

Great size. Sturdy so can take weight of contents. Would have liked latch so could stand box on end but it's so great it's not a deal breaker. Great surface so can easily be personalised with decoupage or painting.

Plain pine box roughly painted with poor quality paint. Hinges are cheap. This is a DIY craft box being sold as a nice finished product. Not good value for money.

Overall the box is well made and looks like in the pictures. Its as i expected pretty much. the only minus is that the white string that connects the lid to the base of the box is connected with clamps to the box and has already started to rip/break (the white plastic/fbaric seems very fragile). Also the string folds outwards when you close the box so there is a little white thing sticking out of the box when you close it. But these problems are solvabe if you have some crafting skills.

Très joli coffret de qualité. Peut servir de rangement, boîte à souvenir ou comme dans ce cas à offrir. Très solide mais il manque juste un petit détail, le petit crochet fermeture. Mais il est de bonne qualité. Les coins sont légèrement arrondis.

Il prodotto è esattamente come descritto nella presentazione, è arrivato nei termini e ben imballato. È di ottima fattura e ben rifinita, sia ben chiaro che non stiamo parlando di una cassaforte, è una bella cassetta in legno che sto utilizzando come porta oggetti nel mio Defender acquistato da poco, al posto del cuby box. Ho optato per questa soluzione non appena ho visto questa cassetta già colorata, insieme ad altre di colori diversi, poiché volevo evitare di spendere una cifra molto ben superiore a questa per il cuby box che avrei dovuto installare in maniera permanente. Essendo che davanti ho tre posti a sedere, questa cassetta è ideale da tenere tra i sedili di guida e passeggero, tenuta ferma dalla cintura di sicurezza ed all'occorrenza poterla rimuovere semplicemente sganciando la cintura e recuperare il terzo posto a sedere. Siccome ho visto che il fondo effettivamente non è molto robusto e temendo che potesse rompersi col peso degli oggetti e le vibrazioni durante la marcia, ho ritagliato, a misura, un robusto pezzo di cartone da imballaggio da applicare sotto la cassetta, perfettamente incastrato, per fare in modo che il peso si distribuisca su tutta la base. Infine gli ho applicato una chiusura a clip per evitare che si aprisse accidentalmente e potesse produrre rumori fastidiosi con le vibrazioni durante la marcia. Per tenere piccoli oggetti leggeri ed in ordine è ideale, la consiglio poiché penso di aver fatto un ottimo acquisto. La puntualità e la precisione di Amazon, come sempre, indiscutibili.
