Look elsewhere for good examples
Promising cover but the actual content is full of really poorly designed examples, a great number of those do not fulfill some very basic logo requirements. The way logos are categorized is not exactly helpful, either. If you are into really proper examples of professional, timeless logo design, try "Logo: The Reference Guide to Symbols and Logotypes" by Michael Evamy. I've bought these two at the same time and the difference is beyond comparison, clearly in favor of the latter.

Un bon gros livre qui regroupe des centaines de logos dans plusieurs thématiques. Pas d'explications, juste des logos. Ce livre est idéal pour trouver des idées de formes, de structures, des associations de couleurs, de typo, etc. Une grande aide pour les petites pannes d'inspirations ! Des marques internationales, plusieurs thématiques, très complet. Un bon petit pavé de bonne qualité, une couverture épaisse, une reliure solide, le papier est de bonne qualité, très agréable à feuilleter...

Seriously am a big logo fan. This books keeps you imbibed into it. What's the best part is there are no explanations of any logo it soughts of create genuine curiosity within you,and makes you create your own definition of the logo.
