Stainless buckle.
I bought these to use on my boat dock. I planned to use these to hold 2 plastic poles together. They look very strong but the side of the strap strarted to fray on the very first use so I decided to return because I couldn’t see these holding up a long time near salt water. The stainless buckets looked awesome but if the strap isn’t as good. It seems a bit overpriced for the use.

Very nice straps
Very nice ratchet straps! The strap itself is very thick (about 3 times as thick as ordinary cheap ones you get at home improvement stores). The buckle is made from thick metal and operates very smooth and is easy to retract when taking off. The endless straps work great for strapping car transmissions onto transmission jacks. Stainless steel too so no rust! The only negative is it is made in Communist China.

Was tired of the steel ones rusting up on me.
I use these for kayak tie downs and around my boat lift. I've had same manufacturer (different version) for years outside and they are still in great shape. These come without the second hook and were perfect for strapping down my kayaks to my truck rack. I'm very pleased. Recommended.
