Great for a Factory Cast Net
This is a great cast net for one that is factory produced. The monofilament is very soft. I soaked it in some fabric softener to soften up a bit more, but it's great as-is. The braille lines stay clear and the lead line is tied very well and strong. My net came as advertised with the round weights, and it's about 1.5lbs per foot. I purchased the 7' 3/8" mesh for all around baitfishing, and the 6 panel design opens nicely. I would recommend this cast net for anyone wanting something better than Bett's, but not pay the price for a custom net (which I own several of as well).

High quality and heavy
Beautiful net, I have not had it on the water yet, as it is much heavier than the net I am used to. so I need more practice getting it to pancake.

I've improved my bait casting!
I was using a 4' net and missing all the bait because it didn't sink well. This one is perfect. It took me a few times to get used to the weight difference but now I catch shad like a pro. Good quality net, heavy weights, and the bucket is very convenient.

Need better description just my opinion.
Not as described... Returned has the long weights instead of the round lead weights on bottom.Great product just not what I like....

Opens great and has minimal tangles
Heavy but that is the key to catching bait. Opens great and has minimal tangles, my favorite 6' net since early 1980's. Only complaint is the braile line cap. One braile line slipped out the first few casts. Had to take cap apart and re-thread, knot and super glue the braile line back in place. Minor problem comapred to overall performance.

Just right
Not extremely heavy, but sinks quick. 6’ is too small and 8’ is too cumbersome for ME. I can throw all of them well, but I am NOT an expert. I’m 5’7” and the 7’ net is the right size for me. ALL cast nets WILL tear if you get it stuck on rocks, pilings, etc., so be careful where you throw and I’m sure it will last you a long time.

Great quality!
Oh man this is a beauty. However, get a smaller size so you don't beat yourself to death throwing it. I have the 7' model (14' in diameter).
