This is my third cast net from Lee Fisher, excellent products. The two others had 3/8'' Sq. Mesh which had sinking problem (not fast enough for big fish: Black Drum, for example). With this 1-1/4'' Sq. Mesh, the leads get often into the Mesh's holes which cause tangle.I only have problem with the Mesh size in the point of Physics' law, not with the quality of the products (which are excellent) ...

Great piece of equipment
Excellent Net. Durable build. Flawless assembly. The mesh is supple and flexible and opens smoothly. Heavy duty for large fish and resistant to tears. The weight is perfect for the application. Maybe a little heavy for beginners but this is not a toy. Sinks fast to catch fast fish and is not prone to wadding due to surface chop or light wind. Lots of braille lines (28 total) means good tight closure and fewer fish lost. Really great piece of work. I plan to use this net to catch a few hundred pounds of mullet off the beach in a couple weeks.
