Bought but never installed
I can't give an honest review as I ended up buying a whole new knob for my bathroom door. However, if I need to replace one of the other ancient latches in my house, I could see this working great!

Perfect fit for my Weslock doorknob
After installing this Weslock latch, the rest of the door went back together smooth and didn't have to rekey a new door lock, that saved me time and money, so thank the Lord there's companies that still sell parts for what you need and they were the ones, ordered in the middle of the week and got it in a few days, couldn't be more please we the product and transaction, Thank You for having the correct part

The same replacement for my original part.
When my house was built in 1987, the house was equipped with Weslock lever and latch combo. One door latch broke, but it lasted from 1987 to 2024. That is a very long time. This is the reason why I didn't want to get any knock offs. I wanted the same brand. Weslocks last a very long time, and by using it in my project to fix my door, it feels very strong built.

Works with Simple modification
Received this latch on time. It was initially too long, so I had to remove one of the outer ends of the backset rings which is to simply grab a flathead screwdriver, insert in the hole and wedge off the extra piece. Afterwards, it fits perfectly!

Very pleased to find this part available on Amazon. I have bought replacement parts from Amazon in the past and have never been disappointed. Although it is described as being for interior use it is identical to the part in my entrance door which is where I installed it. It arrived in three days, was well packaged and was easy to install. Very satisfied.

A $20 fix vs. $130 fix
I had recently paid a locksmith $130 to repair another door latch in my house. After watching him do it, I decided to try to find this part online. Bingo! Just what I needed.
