I bought this for my father and he was very pleased with the book. He claims that it is interesting and informative while not droning on. The quality of the book was great and the shipping was quick. I'd definitely recommend!

The legendary guerrilla leader Ernesto "Che" Guevara undoubtably had a real impact on 20th century history and shows here a surprising literary talent. He travelled extensively in South and Central America in the 1950s and became used to writing daily reports of his experiences. This book largely comprises his diaries written during the Cuban Revolution and his later (failed) attempt to lead a similar uprising in Bolivia. Whatever you think of his politics this is a fascinating read. And his support of the subjugated indian and mestizo peoples of central and South America against both corrupt home grown rulers and interference from US commercial and political interests is still depressingly relevant. Advanced Spanish readers only(!)
