this reel is a budget reel but its great has metal gears metal handle and metal spool and the price is great has a plastic body but i have reels with a plastic body's that i have had for 20yrs and still work so if your on a budget and what a great reel here it is.

Cracking little reel!
Fantastic small spinning reel. Exactly what I was after for my 25gram lure rod. Extremely smooth, great quality as you’d expect from Shimano. Great price too. I loaded it with 10lb line, I’d guess it took around 120-140 yards, but that’s a guesstimate. Perfect lightweight small spinning reel. Very happy.
