Hitachi IGC0056 Ignition Coil

Recently my van began running rough and a check engine light came on. I hooked up a scan tool and determined I was getting a misfire on cylinder 5. This ignition coil matched the oe ones, so after swapping the coil the errors went away. Fit well and was easy to install, once I got a wrench back to the back side of the engine. Getting this one solved the problem for now, but since the van just ticked over 100,000 miles, I'll be ordering 5 more and a new set of ngk plugs as well. Ordering this and replacing the failed part myself saved me over $1000 vs taking it to the shop so it was a great value.

Exact original manufacture part 2016 Honda Odyssey. Works as it should!

Exact match for our 2014 Honda Odyssey. Definitely improved performance. Replaced original at @ 175 miles.

Worked perfectly on my 2008 odyssey with a new spark plug to cure a cylinder misfire.

I now know for a fact, because we tried to install these on Honda Odyssey EX w/ the Vtech engine, they do not plug in and can't be used. These are ONLY for the Honda Odyssey Touring or models that use the iVtech engine, which runs on 4 of 6 cylinders when at speed on the highway, for increased mileage. For the regular Vtech engine, you need the Hitachi IGC0055.

It looks like the OEM part but had white powdery residue all over the blue end part of the ignition coil. There were no instructions about what it is and on first glance it looked as if the part was a used part. Online research suggested that it may be some kind of powder lubricant but looked fishy. I installed it and used my own lubricant to be safe. worked as expected.

Have all 6 on my 2013 Acura TL replaced with these coils and it’s been almost 100,000 miles and no issues . Great replacement for cost .

It did come within the day as reported. Properly packaged and bubble-wrapped to protect it from delivery gorillas. I didn't need it ultimately because when I checked the actual connection to replace the #1 Cylinder Coil Pack, it was unplugged by the mechanic that changed my spark plugs a day before.

saved almost 800$ using these vs OEM from the dealer.... THESE ARE OEM, but they are from the source. No issues with install and they are genuine hitachi (like the OEM ones are). I have beaten on my car since the install and no issues.

This was a perfect fit for my Honda Odysser 2014. Same thing as OEM Honda part at half the price fron the Honda dealer.

This was an exact match in every way (even the same injection mould marks!) as the coils that came with the engine from the factory. I also tested the coil resistance and it was the same as factory spec. Ironically it turned out to be a better match than the supposedly same part from Honda. Fast shipping too. I would highly recommend!
