Beyond my expectation!
My original electrical bean grinder was broken and then I found this grinder just as temporary substitute. But it turned out to be very good. I gotta say I like the feeling manually grinding my beans. The grinder makes it easy, effortless and also really pleasing...Different grinding settings can make the powder fit both my two coffee machines so that's a big plus. As you can see my second picture shows 4 of the 6 different settings, they are 6,5,3 and 1. I think these settings can fit with whatever coffee machine you have. Also this thing looks very good in my kitchen. Fit with my espresso machine aesthetically well!————————————————————————————————————————————It's been a while since the purchase. The grinder is still good as anew. That's some quality productions. Love it.

High Quality Grinder, but the Hopper is Small
Our Javapresse grinder broke, so we were in the market for a new one. Decided to take a chance on this one despite the limited, albeit positive reviews, and have been very impressed with the quality. Even the packaging is high-end--like you're buying a phone or laptop. Everything works very well (efficient grinding, comfortable handle, etc.), but my one complaint is that I it would hold more coffee beans in the hopper. The hopper can only hold approx. 20 g of beans (probably varies a bit between roasters), so you will need to load it twice to fill the glass container. I wish they specified this in the description. The Javapresse, for example, holds enough beans to fill the container with grinds. Since the amount of beans it holds is more of a preference, I am not lowering my rating for that--but take that into consideration before buying.

Sleek, and consistent.
Grind is generally consistent build quality seems fine. It’s a bit messy so not sure if I would recommend it for travel. It’s part of my zen ritual of making coffee each morning. Fill the kettle, weigh the beans, grind the beans. It’s good enough for what I do. I have previously owned the Hario S and another amazon brand grinder and I do like this the best out of the three. Manufacturer was in China and tried to send me an extra glass bottle to “catch” the dress ground coffee as they said it had been a common break. I never received it, but have avoided the “breaking” of what I have.

Well built and constructed
Love the material and quality. Can't do a full report due to the coffee beans being late.

good product
excellent except perhaps a bit hard to pour the coffee out because of the shape of the lower bottle. not a big deal though.

Very well made and effective
First of all, keep in mind this is a small quantity, manual grinder and I use it to test batches of home roasted coffee that I roast for myself and friends. I cannot think a single improvement that would need to be made on this product. It is simple, well made, and grinds very effectively. The body is aluminum, grinding burrs are stainless steel, and the collection jar is glass. I chose metal burrs, over the ceramic grinders, due to some significant reports of broken burrs. I like the glass jar as I am always trying to minimize the contact between plastic and my food or drink. The handle is thoughtfully designed and fits very securely while grinding but simple to remove for loading and cleaning. Hopefully, this grinder lasts me a very long time as I am very happy with the entire product and process.

Great manual coffee grinder!
Great manual coffee grinder with a stainless steel burr. I researched manual grinders and decided to try this because it had features I wanted at a reasonable cost. The pics include coffee at grind size 2, 4, 6. I had one of the cheapo ceramic burr grinders and I can say this one grinds way faster and the consistency seems great. I would not recommend for travel due to the glass jar, unless you keep the box.
