Its a good printer the only con I feel should be fixed is that its only supported by 1 side the bed needs support from 2 sides to eliminate the bed from sagging.

I own 4 ender 5’s this would be Number five I’ve had nothing but problems to start I had to take everything completely apart even the high then and put everything back together properly now I’m getting some pretty good prints I’m not happy that it took so much work but it’s been hard to even get an under five delivered so if you’ve got some good technical skills and know what you’re doing it’s worth it i’m just glad I did not have to return it

UPDATE:The new motherboard did NOT fix the problem. I returned that printer and got a replacement of the exact same model, and the replacement works as expected. Great. -1 star for inconsistent quality.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Makes nice prints. Quiet. Mine arrived with a problem in the Y-axis. In working with the seller, Skophy, we determined the motor voltage settings were wrong and the motherboard had a bad driver. After replacing the motherboard (free under warranty) and correcting the voltage settings, all works as expected.

I quite like the printer! The only thing is when I first set it up it would start to print and then 'reset' and end up not printing. I was worried it was faulty, however I looked around on the internet and discovered there is a switch to change the voltage from European 220 volts (where it was set at when I received the printer) to North American 115 volts. Simply flipped the switch and everything started working great! This is my first 3d printer so I have nothing to compare it to but it seems great! The adhesion between layers seems good, I was having some trouble with adhering to the bed but a gluestick fixed that issue. Print quality is way better than I had expected!

The assembly was easy, if you're used to putting electronics together (building a PC, for example). I'd recommend using the Cura slicer software (which is what Creality's software based on anyway). Leveling takes a little bit of work but once it's done the print quality is good.I used a laser thermometer to get a rough idea where the cold spots are on the heat bed (the back right corner being the worst, about 3-5C cooler), good to keep that in mind when printing larger footprint models. In those cases a raft may help.Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who's handy and wants to get into 3D printing.

I got this as my first 3d printer. Was super easy to assemble. With research I have been able to fix all my print issues. All the issues were setting based, not printer based. Have had zero issues with the printer. I do use Cura for slicing as I found that easier then the creality slicer.

Would like to see the listing be more clear about upgrades and board versions.Expected 32bit board got 8bit board. Seller worked with me to get the proper board which arrived quickly. For the price I'm happy. Minor adjustments were required after setup to align the belts. Would love to see this with a bltouch preinstalled as beds are often warped.

I like the printer. But I assumed from the title in the ad I would be getting the 32 bit chip . I had to remove the cover to check it . Atmega128 is not 32 bit but 8 bit. I will now have to buy he proper board so I can do more upgrades.
