I have quite a few of these awesome rechargeable lightbulbs, 3 rechargeable electric generators, an electric blanket if needed, and a gas stove. Thanks to all these items mentioned, I'm all set for any time the electricity is lost here. And it has happened more than once!

I ordered the bright white ones b/c I figured if the power goes out, I want to be able to SEE! These work GREAT for that! The light output doesn't match any of my other "warm" LED color bulbs so I had to put them in the kitchen track lighting where they work great but one bulb out of the set flickers no matter where I put it. Initially, I put them in lamps that have a 4 part option. 1-Top bulb on (where I put these), 2-bottom (nightlight style) bulbs on, 3-both top & bottom on, or 4-off. What happened is these bulbs never turned off. I guess this bulb thought the power was out and kicked on the battery portion! I have 3 lamps like that & these bulbs stayed lit in all 3, even in the off position and even when unplugged. When I put this bulb in another lamp it worked normally and when I unplugged it, it didn't turn on, so I'm not sure what was up with the other ones. In regular lamps and even 3 way lamps, they're perfect. The bulb also lights up in your hand if you hold it a certain way. That's kind of a fun party trick ;-).

When I received the emergency light bulbs I installed them in a table lamp. It lit up but when I unplugged the lamp to see what would happen if the power went off it didn't work. Through experimentation, I unplugged the plug from the wall outlet and toughed both prongs together and the light bulb lit. Then I took the light bulb out of the lamp and jumped the center connector with the base and the light bulb lit. I tried contacting the manufacturer through Google to no avail, then I read from a card that was included with the light bulbs and sent an email to the address. I got a reply one day later. I again described the problem I was having and did not receive a reply. A final note: the published instructions on Amazon's are very vague and ambiguous, my suggestions are do not buy this product until Amazon publishes a more detailed instruction on how to connect this product to american receptacles. Update A representative of the manufacturer contacted via email he relayed his disappointment in my frustration and promises to send free of charge new bulbs. Which I received three days later. The emergency light bulbs work as advertised. The only problem is they do not light up when the power cord is disconnected simulating a power failure. They will light up using the provided hangers. An updated review. In October of 2020 hurricane Zeta hit the SE Louisiana where I live. The Rechargeable Emergency LED Bulb 1200mAh 15W 80W worked perfectly. I had them installed in all lamps. When the poser went off, all bulbs I had installed stayed lit. They lasted approximately 6 hours. I would recommend this product to everybody needing emergency backup lighting.

Initially, I loved the amount of light produced by these bulbs, but they haven’t shown any longevity and they are going back to Amazon. Cons: - 1 remote in the box, making it not very easy for my husband and to operate our own lights. 1 of us has to operate both lamps which is less than desirable. - This is the 3rd brand we have tried. The light produced is pleasant and bright enough for reading in bed, but they just don’t hold a charge. One of them was charged all day yesterday and when we turned them on to use in the evening, it only stayed bright for about an hour. 😒

One arrived with the interior loose so it was hard to plug in the charging cable. I was shocked with how long these stay charged. I fully charged them and then lasted maybe 10 hours. I used them about 2-3 hours every night and they grew dimmer and dimmer every night.

These are amazing I live in the United States Virgin Islands, and we are left without power often and I have been utilizing these for about 2 years now and it's a great investment the bulb lifeline is incredible.

After the last blackout I thought I would find some rechargeable light bulbs for the lamps I have on the most. I did a lot of research and decided on this brand. The price was a bit more but I wanted ones with USB and that would charge in the light socket of my lamps. I am very glad I bought these and they have a hanger that you can use them for a portable light as well.. The hanger has been very helpful when I try to get stuff out of my locker in the basement. lol. I would buy them over and over again and in fact a couple of my older friends are getting them for Christmas. And best of all they come with remotes. Excellent product for my needs!!!!

My daughter was telling me about rechargeable lightbulbs and I was just looking out of curiosity when I came across these. The reviews I read were mixed but some people didn't seem to understand how they work. I got ones for my mum. She is 97 and lives on her own. In the winter the power sometimes goes out if it is stormy. If the power goes out in the evening she will be stuck in her chair because it is too dark to see anything. She also struggles to switch on a torch, which she would have to find first!! I have put one of these bulbs in her sitting room lamp and one in the hall. If the power goes off they stay on. The light is not as bright as when they have power, maybe not bright enough to read but it is bright enough to be able to see where you are going and much safer than a candle.

Fixed my broken lamp where I tugged on the chain and it broke off...now I have a way to turn on and off the light with the remote! This light will work in black outs too and like that it has a timer mode and you can switch from warm to cool lighting. Happy with my purchase!
