PonyUp Ponytail Holder (Black)

I bought this because I had seen multiple ads for a competitors product and I wanted to try out the concept before investing in large price tag of the other product.I have very long thick hair and always put it up. I was starting to have issues with my elastic hair ties pulling my hair because of the weight of the long hair and I was getting headaches. So when I saw this product I was super excited to gave a solution to those issues.The pros on this are that is is cheap and it does hold your hair with little or no creasing.The cons are that it is cheapLy made and ridged in a bad way. The wire band in this is not flexible enough to mold to the shape you want it to without creasing and getting tiny ridges in it that don’t go away. It is hard to work with and the longer you use it the worse it gets. I do not think this will last longer than 2 months of daily use.If you have long or thick hair this will be too small for you to bend the edges backward. If you have thin or fine hair the size should work well for you.Since I did like the concept enough I went all in and bought the popular competitors version. I was able to buy a larger size to accommodate my thicker hair and it bends so smoothly. It is by far superior to this one but is 1 1/2-2x the cost plus crazy s&h fees. I do think the more expensive tone will hold up much longer.

Right out of the box this thing was fabulous. I wore it for a couple of hours, and by probably the third time I'd worn it the metal inside of it snapped out of the coating making it unusable. Do yourself a favor and get the real Pony-O - this is NOT it.

So originally I love this product and I love the way it looked in my hair however the metal is now coming through the pony holder after using it for 3 days in a row.

Highly recommend!!! Bought one for me and one for my daughter and it exceeded both of our expectations! She gets much more creative with it than I do. I use it primarily for low ponytails and my daughter loves it for high buns. It is really great if you are someone who fixes your hair up when you are hot but don't want it up all day-in crease whatsoever.

This is a fun hair accessory, really does add a little pop or volume to your ponytail. It came with a little instruction sheet with different styling options. It did take a few attempts for some things and I don’t have long enough hair for all, but it does stay in tight and comes out easy.

I love this item.....but after using it for les then a week the rubber Material got a lot of Holes:( too bad I wish The quality would be better!!!

I wanted this to work for my little girl that likes her hair up in what we call the Barbie Ponytail. Way up high on her head. I thought this would do the trick but I think that she just doesn’t have thick enough hair. Her hair is down past her bottom and she always wears braids or ponytails.I did find a way to accomplish the Barbie Ponytail though, searching the Internet. I found if you put the hair in 2 separate pony’s then combining in yet another elastic you can achieve the look.We will work with the Pony-Up and maybe make it work.

I brought this to try because I kept seeing ads for a competitor's product and wanted to try it. I have thick shoulder length hair. I put this in my hair pressed it and bent it into a U shape as the directions stated. It immediately slipped out! I tried it again and pressed as hard as I could to close it around my hair and still it just slipped out. Returning it because it doesn't work.
