Easy to use, no cleaning hassle indeed - still working after 5 years
Our previous Joyong soy milk maker finally broke after more than 15 years with us, upgraded to this most high-end model. Because I didn't like the cleaning of the original one. Indeed, the self cleaning works great! Now I made a batch of soy milk almost every Saturday & Sunday, and it is also very convenient that I don't need to soak the beans ahead of time. The only down side is it only makes 1000ml max, a bit small for family of 4. If 1200ml would be perfect. I used it to make coffee, not very efficient, uses more beans than a normal coffee maker does. I bought this in 2020. Now looking back, this machine serves us well. Still going strong. I am very careful when using it, don't want to break the milk cup or the water cup. Make sure do not overfill the ingredient, otherwise you will get error. The only way to get out of that error is to unplug, run a cleaning cycle. I have this routine recipe that I follow every time - half cup of dry soy beans, 10 lotus seeds without ski, 1/4 cup of Pearl Barley, soak for one night. Put these into the mixer with, add a couple sides of ginger, choose 1000ml size, and "Dry Soy Milk" menu item. It runs for about 20 minutes, Enjoy!

DON'T PURCHASE HERE!!! BIG SCAM!!!
I originally purchased one soymilk maker from this seller and it worked fine, so I confidently bought a second one as a New Year gift for my parents. That was a big mistake. The second unit was clearly defective. It worked inconsistently—sometimes it would start, sometimes it would suddenly shut off in the middle of the process. I even sent the seller video proof showing the power cutting off unexpectedly. This is NOT normal behavior for a new machine. What’s worse is the seller’s handling of the return. They initially demanded that I pay the return shipping for a defective product, which is absolutely ridiculous. I already paid shipping to receive it, and now I’m supposed to pay again because THEY sent a faulty machine? That makes no sense at all. After I called and argued, the seller finally sent a free return label. However, after weeks of chasing for my refund, I was shocked to receive only $443.95 back out of the original $532.39. The seller claimed the machine was “fine” and deducted the shipping cost THEY paid—despite the clear malfunction and video evidence. This is completely unfair and unacceptable. Selling a defective product, then blaming the customer and withholding part of the refund is terrible business practice. To make it even more frustrating, I later found the same machine for $399 from another seller, with free shipping and much better customer service.

Overall Fabulous! Still a few issues…
First, I love the fact it uses all the soybeans. Healthier, and I don’t have to figure out how to use the pulp. I also love the self-cleaning, which works great. I don’t mind the noise, it’s a happy motor noise. I love saving our landfill the containers I used to use from my soy milk. The only thing I don’t like is the pour spout on the carafe. It spills no matter what I do, and makes a mess plus wastes some soy milk. I can’t replace with a better carafe, because you need the built in magnet. If the company made a new and improved carafe I’d buy it.

Love the machine
Enjoying the machine, soy milk is still not as good as filtered, but that’s to be expected and the flavor is really good. Coffee is not that good either due to lack of consistent grinding. My favorite are the drinks that includes rice and other grains. The fruit smoothie is nice too, although it cannot blend the apple skin like a Vitamix can. The carafe is thick glass so it’s heavier than expected. I believe that’s because there’s no keep warm plate on the bottom so the thicker glass helps to keep the drink warm for longer. The hot water is fixed at 500ml. My parents and I love how easy this machine is to use and clean. Coffee ground does not get cleaned all the way though, a few specks would be left. Bottom line is buy this for the main functions of all sorts of bean/nut milk and rice drinks, don’t buy it for extra features like coffee or hot water.

unfortunately the machine does not work after couple times of use
I only use the machine couple times. When the machine is working, it works great, but now the soy milk does not being produced into the glass jar anymore. The soy milk produced into the back container only so I can't use it anymore. I will see if I can easily return this machine since it's still within the 30 day period. Looks like I have to pay for shipping the machine back to the seller so it's quite a hassle and costly thing to return this item.

Bad quality
Poor quality It failed to make soy milk only after one month. There’s an error on the panel maybe it’s clogged. I would never pay for this expensive machine that only last for months.
