Cheap plastic
Awful. Made of cheap plastic, and arrived broken. Got a refund, but it was supposed to be a gift!

... rollers worked well for a while and I was pleased with the purchase
The rollers worked well for a while and I was pleased with the purchase. However, the plastic construction is not really strong/durable enough. Just from the act of unfolding and re-folding to put away...the plastic cracked in the hinge area. The rollers are still usable, but I am disappointed overall. Now I will probably have to invest in a better quality product.

Extremely pleased with this purchase
I am a SAHM living in the country. Jogging is not my thing and walking with little tag alongs is generally not aerobic as we have to pace for little legs and stop to inspect all items of interest, talk to the horses, and tie shoes ... again. All that to say, I found getting out for some good exercise rather difficult. We got this so I could get in some good exercise, work more diligently toward loosing that clinging baby weight, and increase general health. I will say that it has been working, but be forewarned - riding a bike on this is a whole new experience. I felt that I had to learn to ride all over again. I had no idea that when I rode on the earth's surface what a cheater I was. I would pause in peddling and coast often - that is not possible on this. You are forced to peddle continuously and smoothly or you will become unbalanced. For this reason alone, it makes for an excellent workout.I was concerned about the safety of this item. What if I got off track? Wouldn't I just fly right into a wall? Not a chance. When the tire gets off its roller you stop dead in your tracks. This isn't a problem becasue there is no forward momentum. I started out close enough to a wall that I could stick my elbow out for support when ever I felt the loss of balance. That way I could continue peddling while I regained balance. This was much easier than catching my self on a stable bookshelf or table. When I tried that method I found it hard to get balance as I tended to put more weight on one side of the handle bar as I tried to move my other hand from the stabalizing furniture to the bar - again there is no coasting to help you get started.I have been riding on it 3-4 times a week for 20 minutes for about 2 months. It took me a good 2 weeks to be able to ride for even three minutes without losing balance or getting off track. Even now, I can only make it to about 8 minutes. There is no getting bored on this thing, it takes some serious concentration to keep the core engaged, your pace steady, your weight balanced, and everything running along smoothly. I certainly work up a sweat and get my heart rate going to a good aerobic rate. I feel it is a great option for me.The back tire engages the rear rollers, which in turn engage the front roller by way of a belt. When I unbowed the item I was pleased to see that it came with an extra belt. I have not seen any wear on the one I have been using, but it is nice to know that there is an extra ready to go when it is needed. I have been using a mountain bike on this and love how the gearing on the bike is what effects the resistance. I think a road bike may be easier to buy, but a mountain bike is what I have.

It's okay, but not the best.
It works quite well, but I wouldn't say it's the best. The frame is actually a thinner than what I expect it, I was worried if it will collapse or not. But it work just fine.

Good Rollers At a Good Price
This is the first roller-trainer I've purchased and I'm very pleased with them. It took about 10 minutes to assemble them. They're made of strong composite materials and well constructed. I recommend following the advice of placing them in a doorway or having something to hold onto when fist starting. It takes a little while to get use them. Once you start riding them regularly, they're much more enjoyable than a stationary trainer.
