Power+ Lighted Cover for Kindle 4 and Kindle 5

Perfect for the kids kindles, now they can read at night. Haven't tried out the "solar" part yet. Just wished that there was colors to choose from...

Have had this product for about 3 months & a little disappointed. Does not add 3 times longer battery life - it adds about 25%. The light is useful but is in a fixed position, so annoys my husband when I am reading beside him! It is also heavy, which makes the Kindle less portable. To be honest, there are plenty of covers with lights which are more mobile & the extra battery charge is handy, but not what it promises.

This product was listed as "Solar Power Lighted Cover for Kindle 4" There is no solar power on it. I guess because it says "Solar Power" not "Solar Powered" The brand name is Solar Focus so it may be a play on words. It is a nice battery powered case. Just be aware this is NOT SOLAR POWERED.

The seller of this product was SolarFocus Canada who provided superlative service via rapid delivery and excellant followup. That was also after I made a brief request to them about some information regarding another of their products. In brief, they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Not something easily said in today's impersonal marketplace. Now to the product........It is has exceeded my expectations!!! Unlike other covers, it is only slightly larger than the Kindle itself and "fits the hand" extremely well. Instructions are simple and are pretty goof-proof. The light feature is absolutely super and provides good illumination to the full screen. It is placed in such a way that it neither creates a screen glare nor annoys the wife when she's sleeping. (I'm a "middle of the night" reader). When not in use it pops into its own hide-away slot and completely disappears. While the light and kindle batteries recharge simultaneously, the light battery can also be used to recharge the Kindle battery alone if you just happen to be off in the woods someplace with no power. All-in-all, I cannot speak highly enough of this product. I'd rather pay a bit more for something that is above and beyond what even the seller says than wind up with something that is even mildly annoying! It suits my requirements to a "T"!!! Everyone with a Kindle should have one of these!!!

My wife uses this unit and she is very pleased with it. Quality is real good and light works just right for reading in a darkened room before bedtime.

This is the second SolarFocus cover for a 6" Kindle (Tequila) that I've bought (the previous one had the solar power front panel). This cover works great for my Kindle and is excellent value for money. It is sturdy, well designed and looks good.

Love how this protects the Kindle. It feels like I'm holding a real book and I really like that. Love the light. Discreet, powerful, easy to manage. I often look for the light when I'm reading a paper book!

Overall very happy with the Kindle 4 cover for the Kindle touch.I originally ordered the cover for the Kindle non-touch, not realizing there was a different cover for the Kindle Touch.Since it was my screwup, cost me the shipping charges back. The company was real good and did not charge me shipping charges again.I guess sometimes it is better to actually deal directly with the store, this way you can see what you buy. But I wanted the cover with the light.Even with the extra money it cost to ship back, the cover with the light is well worth it.If you are reading this, take your time to make sure you order the correct cover, it is well worth the money.
