Crawl (DVD)

If love disaster/crocodile films then this one is for you and has a lot of action in it and on the edge of your seat movie.

A disaster movie crossed with a horror move involving an alligator out to feast on whoever it can. Yes take your brain out and enjoy the jump scares and just enjoy.

Crawl was good and scary the effects, acting were all good.

I discovered this was same director that worked with Wes Craven in 'Hills have Eye' which were incredibly frightening. Once again, this movie did not let audience alone once it moved into its stride.

I loved this film from start to finish, great story with some fantastic scenes, a bit gory in places but that's what you want from a film like this.

This seemed to be a dead cert...Subject matter - People in peril, and from the loathed (mostly) ALLIGATOR! - Filmed during Category 5 hurricane (newsreel and CGI) - Personable lead actress. So why 3 stars. Despite the very good CGI, the 'gators look so real! and the relentless storm footage, and some "dog in peril" I just could not get into it. The characters failed to grab my heartstrings, and the action scenes did tend to beggar belief. Both characters took serious whacks from said 'gators. She suffers serious leg and arm injuries and even gets "rolled" (a sure sign of no future (I understand), and to add disbelief, she still manages to out swim one of the beasts! Where was the tension that perhaps another director would find and give us. The actors have no script to speak of (no pun intended) so we don't really care. But, I have to say the film looks good, it is relatively short, and Kaya Scoledario does well (I had never heard of her, and was surprised to see how much work she has under her belt. The DVD is good quality - Letterbox (bars top and bottom) good sound and subtitles, with a short "extra "Beneath Crawl"> Worth a go if you like this kind of picture. Filmed in Serbia.

This dvd is not in the case just empty case ok so it is now gone in the bin I am unhappy ok I dont like be like this ok unhappy ok

I loved the directors early film Switchblade romance but after that his work went down hill fast this was a nice return to form, good acting, effects are pretty good, had me on the edge of my seat a few times & was glad the dog lived :)

No spoilers but me and my wife really enjoyed this movie and she isn’t really into this kind of movie but even she had a good time watching it my advice pick it up and have a fun movie night!

The 1st DVD came and did not work, sent back, then the replacement did not work either, 3rd time, nothing ever came.......... will not order DVDs on this site anymore. Everything else comes fine, though.
