Been using this book in elementary classroom since the 70's. Great to see still in print and lots of other funny books from Jolly Roger. Now sharing the fun with grandchildren!

This book arrived in excellent shape and was well received by all family members who read it. Amazon fulfilled their promise to have it arrive in a timely manner- and in new condition. This book will be another family favorite and addition to my future grandkid's library. Chalk up another Jolly Roger Bradfield favorite edition. His writing and illustrations are top notch. Buy it-your kids will love it. Kids love illustrations on every page and that's exactly what Jolly Roger is all about. Complete entertainment for the whole family!!!!!!

My niece is on the small side compared to her classmates. She was born premature and sometimes has trouble with realizing that she doesn't have to be tall to be liked or loved. When I was a kid my brothers bought me Pickle Chiffon Pie by this author and I loved it! This book is right up there. It has a great message and fun art work. I highly recommend all of Bradfield's books

I loved this one as a kid. What child wouldn't love a kingdom where hamburgers grew on bushes? The plot starts out very simple, the wicked magician wants to marry the princess and is told no so he curses the land- the solution though is one of a kind and is always well received by kids.

Loved this book as a kid. Dad threw it away when he moved. Couldn’t wait to get it back.

i rated this with 5 stars because i love this book and it was my favorite book as a child. The only complaint i have is with the shipping. im in Minnesota and this book came from Ohio (i think), and it took forever to get here! also there was no tracking information so i had no idea what was going on or where it was. very annoying to not provide tracking information.

We bought these after looking online and seeing the other options to our original "Flying Hockey Stick" book. The kids love this one - it's not my favorite story but it is right in line with the other Jolly Roger Bradfield options.
