WORKS WELL. NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER
This rod is definitely worth the price and I had NO issues with the segments detaching like some of the comments stated. Buy it. You won't be disappointed!

Almost a Five Star
I ordered the 10ft 5-6w, and I must say this rod is great for streamers depending on the leaders used. It also shines for dry flies. I'm using a 5w floating line with a tied in perfection loop, and I sealed the tag end with some epoxy to halt wicking. I'm using a 9ft 5x leader with another section of 5x tippet to another fly. Using proper casting technique, this rod throws pretty far on both wide rivers and lakes. I like the color, and it loads up really well on the backswing. My only issue is that the tip end segment separates after about 75 or so casts. I am going to use some wax in order to seal the section in. This should help I hope. Excellent value otherwise!

Feels like a TELEPHONE POLE. Definitely *not* a 3wt.
I got this in a 10 ft 3wt, as I wanted a rod that I could use for both nymphing as well as dry flies & streamers, and was *lightweight* enough so catching/fighting small, wild, backcountry trout would still be fun.Bzzzzz!! First, it's super, super heavy. And the action is like a telephone pole. Stiff as a metal rod, except for tip section. So unless you hook a 16+" trout, you don't even feel the fish. And while it can huck streamers, delicate casting of dry flies is impossible.NO fun for small fish.

Surprisingly good!
Very nice for the price, still new to euro nymphing. Manage to get a bow first time using it. Tippet never broke and the sensitivity pretty good.

Good value for kayakers
Better finish than expected for inexpensive, Good solution for flyfishing with strike indicator rigs from kayaks

Great price, but don’t expect it to last.
This is my second rod from this manufacturer. You can’t beat the price, but you get what you pay for. The first one wouldn’t stay together. The seller sent me a new one, which was great. This one had a similar issue; about every 20 casts, one of the rod pieces would come flying off. While trying the free a snag today, it snapped. I suspect it was one cast away from coming apart and that’s why it broke so easily. If they could fix the loose sections, this rod would be a steal.

Better than expected
I purchased this to see how I'd manage a 10' rod. Most of my fishing days are spent sitting in a kick boat, and the extra length seemed attractive. I know whatever issues I have with keeping my flys off the deck behind me are mine...but adding a foot seems like a reasonable choice while I figure it out. The rod paired up with my pflueger cartridge setup just fine. I put on wf5 and a de-hooked bugger and headed to the back yard. Little slower than my other rods, but sitting I was able to throw 60 feet without much effort. Most days that puts me in fish. Didn't have to be perfect to keep the fly off the deck, and slowing things down didn't hurt either. I'd say it's a great value. The performance and finish are ok...better than I thought for the price I paid. I'll take it on the river and see how it holds up.
