I have had this product for 4 months now and wanted to see how it held up after multiple uses before writing a review. Well I can tell you that this is the best thing I've ordered online in the past 5 years!! The customer service was awesome from the beginning when I was made aware that the product was shipping from the manufacturer in Texas. Once it arrived it was ready to use right out of the box with very little assembly required. I followed the instructions to make sure the sugar content of my drink mix was right and within 40 minutes had a delicious slushy that was restaurant quality. I've tried a lot of different mixes and as long as the sugar content is correct you can't make a mistake. I keep the machine in a covered lanai outside in Florida, so it takes a little longer for the mix to slush, but that's OK with me. This machine has taken our pool parties to the next level and I'm always looking to see what new flavors we can combine. The machine does make a little noise when in use, but nothing that impedes with regular conversation or music around it. The unit is very easy to clean and operate. It has exceeded my expectation.

I am very glad I bought this Margarita Maker. I have been wanting a machine like this for years,especially after I had my home bar built in my basement. It really completes my setup. It was a huge hit at my Superbowl party! Everyone loved it and it was the talk of the party for quite a bit. Even my guests who do not drink alcohol were requesting "virgin" frozen drinks. They were so tasty and everyone was coming up to me requesting a cup of the margaritas once I started serving them. The drinks were frozen in no time. In about 30 minutes, you can have nicely frozen delicious drinks. The machine seems well built and nicely designed and fun to operate. It has a really nice presence on my bar top and helps my bar to look like the real deal. It's really easy to operate and clean, however, I really wish it was a better way to collect any left over drink in either of the containers. The way it designed, if you have left over drink that you want to refrigerate and use for later, if is difficult to do so without spilling some of the liquid since when you lift the container, there will be a huge hole where the cooling unit fits into the container and this is where drink can spill out. I will try using a large turkey baster to suck the liquid out instead. Additionally, the rumors are true...the machine is a bit loud. I was first worried that it would be a huge distraction at my party and that I would not be able to use it while watching TV or a movie but to my surprise, the noise actually fades into the background during a party. I even just watched a basketball game this evening while the machine was making me a delicious frozen margarita and it did not bother me at all. I would not have thought it could be when I first turned the machine on but you actually can get used to how loud it is and it sort of becomes like white noise during a party or easily drowned out by music or a television. I was especially impressed with the support I received from day one from Margarita Girl before I even bought the machine, throughout the purchasing and shipping process. They were great communicators.They also went above and beyond to make me a satisfied customer so I feel really good about this purchase and doing business with them again. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

We purchased this machine even though it is quite an investment. We went with the double bowls so we could run two flavors at once and it is worth the extra money. We have found for us using mixes designed for machines work the best. We have had good results with store-bought mixes as well, but you do have to play with the recipe. We have had zero issues and love the machine. We live in TN and run our machine on a covered back porch and it takes about 1.5 hours for the perfect drink. Once people start drinking out of the machine I would recommend adding more mixture a little at a time. If you let the bowl get empty you will have to wait for everything to re-freeze. I keep the mix and alcohol pre-mixed in gallon jugs when we are using the machine. This is an easy way to add a little at a time to ensure the drinks keep flowing.

I have used this machine on several occasions to date and can report the following. First, the unit freezes fairly quickly (less than 30 minutes) and faster if the liquid is refrigerated ahead of time. It is easy to operate. Manufacturer warns not to use sugar-free liquids. If natural juice or mix products are used they must contain between 15-25% sugar. Each bowl holds about 2 liters to the fill line. Unit can be diss-assembled or flushed with an adequate volume of warm water to clean. The fifth star was not awarded because the compressor in this unit is loud. Overall the unit performs as promised, is a hit at parties but should be located away from conversation areas due to compressor noise. Unit ships promptly with two extra tank gaskets, 4 extra O-rings and a tube of food grade grease for spigot plug. A minimum of 20 cm space is required on the three venting sides of the machine.

I have just had to say that I have now had this for 2 1/2 years. It has been excellent works wonderfully. I also just had occasion to have to contact the customer service and I can’t tell you how impressed I am. I accidentally lost the rear beater and I contacted their customer service via text got a response in under a half hour with a link to order a new one. The cost was only $6.95 and the fact that they got back to me so quickly, I could not be happier. This machine has done nothing but work exceptionally every single time is easy to use, and is such a wonderful thing to have for parties. I cannot give it a better rating and what a magnificent company.

Recieved this machine about a month ago and was able to use it twice before the Corona Virus outbreak hit. It is heavy, but looked great on my counter. Like others have said, I put in the miss first (no alcohol) and then added the alcohol once the slushie was looking pretty solid. I've only used one side at a time, I think it is better with both sides going as it gets REALLY cold and takes a little TLC to get the rest out, but people loved it. I threw in done Tropicana strawberry lemonade, whooped cream vodka, and a can of diet 7-up, it was seriously AMAZING and will def be a fav summer drink. Lastly, Fed Ex delivered it which is covered by margarita girl. We asked for it to be sent to an address about a mile away, which apparently added a $56 surcharge (they did not tell us this when we asked to change the delivery address). I outreached Margarita Girl, who immediately offered to reimburse the shipping. You really cannot go wrong with this product or the company. While Covid 19 clearly is no laughing matter, our courtyard is seriously debating hooking up the machine outside on warm days, skiing with some Clorox wipes. This way, we can all enjoy an adult beverage from our respective porches! 😉 If you are thinking of purchasing, do yourself a favor and do it!

I love my new margarita girl machine! I bought a cart for it from amazon and can just push it whenever I want! Super easy and fun! Update 7-20-21 I have had my machine a little over a year, on Saturday 7-3-21 I had a little party and use the margarita machine one side was working and the other side was not freezing, so on Sunday 7-4-21 I emailed margarita girl about the one side not working like it should! In 15 minutes they replied back to me how sorry they were! On Monday they contacted fed ex to have a pallet delivered to me so they could pick up the machine when we had it package and ready to go! I contacted them on Monday July 12th and said the machine was ready to be picked! Fed Ex came Tuesday July 13th and picked up the machine! My new machine was delivered Monday July 19th! Wow is all I can say! In a world that is so lacking in good old fashion customer service, it’s refreshing to do business with Margarita girl! Thank you so much!

I took the plunge on this unit for a summer pool party at my new house. I was a little apprehensive about the investment, but the machine itself is solidly build and I'm sure my family will be enjoying it for many, many summers to come. It was more than enough for 20 guests on a hot summer day, and it was a total hit: we also had a cooler of canned beverages, but it was left almost completely untouched in the presence if the slush machine. A few tips I've gathered from the Internets and will deposit here: chilling the mix before you pour it into the unit gives you a head start and you can get slushy in an hour or so; if you keep the adult additives on ice next to the machine, then the slush can be kid-friendly *and* optionally adult approved; if you don't want to use up delicious margarita mix on the kiddos, kool-aid works great too. The kool-aid recipe I'm using is 3 flavor packets and 3 cups of sugar per 1 gallon of water: make the sugar into simple syrup first to make sure it dissolves.
