Artic Pole Zero Degree Boys Thermal Long Underwear Set

I bought these for my average height, thin, 6 year old son. When I took them out of the package, I compared them to pajamas that currently fit him comfortably (close fitting but not snug). They were slightly longer in the leg, slightly larger in the waist, and matched nicely every where else. I then washed them in cold water, and dried them on low, like I do with all our cotton clothes. Since these are advertised as being made of pre-shrunk cotton I never worried about it. I guess I should have. Everything but the waistband shrank substantially. The legs are too short, the sleeves are now 3/4 sleeves, and the bottom of the shirt does not cover his bell button. I have never experienced this kind of shrinkage in any of my sons clothes. very disappointed. These are very cute and soft, but will probably shrink. Order a size larger than you normally would.

These were soft and seemed well made. One problem- They were TINY. I have a small 8 year old who wears a size 6. I ordered a size 7 and they were ridiculously small. The pants fit around the waist but were at least 5 inches too short. Pants looked like a 4T, The shirt looked like a 2T. Complete waste of money. Funny enough, I ordered a set from a different company for my 3 year old and they were perfect. I rarely leave negative reviews but in this case my purchase was a waste, and my kid went to see snow with no thermals to wear under his clothes.

We purchased two sets of these for our sons when we went to Montana for Christmas break. They kept them warm, even in the negative temps they insisted on sledding in. The only drawback is both pairs of pants started to unravel at the cuffs after a couple of washes. Fortunately I caught it and sewed up the holes before they entire cuff fell off. The shirts have washed and worn beautifully, however. The blue has stayed colorfast, and the fabric hasn't pilled, so all in all I'd say it's a satisfactory product.

Ordered two sizes up, as is the norm for kids thermals. Washed cold, tumbled air only. Still shrank too much to be used. The fabric is nice, and well constructed. I just wish the manufacturer understood shrink before sewing. It would be perfect if they did.

Eh. I bought this set for my daughter to wear under her ski clothes this past winter. I bought a 2T based on the size chart and mostly it was the right fit. However, the top is too short and the waist is too loose with very little elastics. Basically not very useful as I couldn't tuck the shirt under the pants. I would not recommend this item.

My son fits mostly 2T items, so I thought a 3T set would be great for his first big snow trip. I found the shirt to be too short by quite a bit. We were able to tuck it into the high-waisted thermal pants, but a few extra inches would've helped a lot. I don't know if my son has a long torso or something, but that was disappointing.Aside from that issue, the thermal set help up well to typical toddler activity, kept him warm, and seems to be doing well after several washes.

This is a great set of thermals. We bought our sons normal size for regular clothes and these fit him perfect. If you're looking for a looser fit than i would go a size up but if you want a true fit than just get the normal size you would for an other clothes. BTW these were the best priced of all the thermals we bought this year.

The size 4 is more like 2T. My daughters is the heather grey thermal size 18 month. My sons is the black one underneath, it's a size 4. It's barely bigger than the 18 month size, no way that's a 4. The second photo is a normal size 4 shirt with the size 4 thermal on top. As you can see size looks mis labeled.
